Nathan Ellis hits a six and tried repeating the shot but this time Mohammed Shami gets the better of him. Ellis doesn’t get the timing right and Kohli takes a few steps to his right at long-on to hold onto it.
Alex Carey tries stealing a double by taking on Shreyas Iyer but Iyer’s throw is perfect and Carey ends up being just short. The Australian star has thrown his wicket away.
Ben Dwarshuis tries to pummel Chakaravarthy for a six but ends up getting caught on the tricky bowling of the Indian spinner.
Axar Patel gets hit for a six but comes back with a fast one the very next ball. Maxwell misses the ball and gets clean bowled. Australia seem to be in trouble now.
Mohammed Shami picks up the crucial wicket of Steve Smith, breaking the partnership between Smith and Alex Carey and giving India an important break in the game. Steve Smith charges down but makes a mess of the full toss and gets bowled out having made 73 runs in 96 balls.
Ravindra Jadeja gets another breakthrough, picking up the wicket of Josh Inglis. Inglis tried touching the ball on the offside but it ends up being neither a touch nor a shot and ends up being a comfortable catch for Virat Kohli to take.
Ravindra Jadeja bowls a bit fuller and Steve Smith takes advantage, hitting the ball straight down the ground for a 80 meter six.

Steve Smith hammers the ball towards the covers and picks up a double to bring up his Fifty.
Ravindra Jadeja’s quick ball slips through the cracks and hits Marnus Labuschagne on the pads. The umpire raises his finger and that is wraps for the Australian batsman who departs having scored 29 runs in 36 balls.
The last ball of Axar Patel’s over confuses Steve Smith and the ball rolls onto the stumps after hitting Smith’s bat. However, the bails stay on and Smith remains not out.

Varun Chakaravarthy picks up Travis Head’s wicket on the second ball of his spell. A very important breakthrough for team India.
Travis Head, who had scored just one run in 11 balls, turned up the pace and scored 25 runs in the next eight balls. Will India be able to stop this onslaught?
