Virat Kohli put in one of his best-ever performances against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on 9th April 2013. SRH batted first and managed to set a decent target of 162 runs for RCB to chase. RCB lost the wicket of Chris Gayle quite early, but Virat Kohli put in a master performance to help Royal Challengers Bangalore chase it down easily. Kohli scored 93 runs in 47 balls at a strike rate of 197.9 while remaining not out. This helped RCB chase the target down in just 17.4 overs and win the game easily.
The game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils, which took place on 10th May 2013, saw Kohli just miss out on a century. RCB batted first, and while Cheteshwar Pujara and Chris Gayle lost their wickets early, Kohli steadied the ship with a brilliant performance. Kohli scored 99 runs in 58 balls at a strike rate of 170.7 before, unfortunately, losing his wicket due to a runout. However, this helped RCB reach 183, and Delhi Daredevils were able to make just 179 runs in 20 overs, losing the game by four runs.

Virat Kohli managed to score a century against the Gujarat Lions on 24th April 2016. RCB batted first, and Kohli had an amazing showing as an opener, scoring 100 runs in 63 balls at a strike rate of 158.7 without losing his wicket. This helped them set a target of 181 for GL to chase down. However, the Gujarat Lions managed to put in a fantastic performance against them and managed to chase the score down in 19.3 overs, beating RCB despite Kohli’s efforts.
Another fantastic century was scored by Virat Kohli in the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad on 18th May 2023. SRH batted first and managed to reach a total of 186 in 20 overs. Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis had a brilliant opening partnership to make light work of this target. Kohli scored 100 runs in 63 balls at a strike rate of 158.7 to help RCB chase the total down in 19.2 overs and win the game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Virat Kohli’s century on 19th April 2019 helped the Royal Challengers Bangalore win an absolute thriller against the Kolkata Knight Riders. RCB batted first, and Kohli hit 100 runs in 58 balls at a strike rate of 172.4 to help his team set a mammoth target of 214 for KKR to chase down. The Kolkata Knight Riders tried to chase this score very valiantly and managed to score 203 runs in 20 overs but ended up falling short by 10 runs, and RCB won the game.

Another Virat Kohli century, which was in vain, came against the Gujarat Titans on 21st May 2023. RCB batted first, and the Indian superstar managed to score 101 runs in 61 balls at a strike rate of 165.6, which helped RCB reach a total of 197 runs. It looked like such a high target would be enough, but Gujarat Titans were not ready to bow out. A brilliant showing by Shubman Gill, who scored a century of his own, saw GT chase the target down in 19.1 overs and win the game.
One of Virat Kohli’s best displays while chasing came against the Rising Pune Supergiants on 7th May 2016. RPS batted first and set a target of 192 for RCB to chase down. Kohli opened the batting for Royal Challengers Bangalore and scored 108 runs in 58 balls at a strike rate of 186.2 without losing his wicket. His century included eight fours and seven sixes and helped the Royal Challengers Bangalore chase the target down in 19.3 overs and win the game
Virat Kohli had another incredible performance against the Gujarat Lions when he faced them on 14th May 2016. Kohli opened with Chris Gayle, but while Gayle lost his wicket early, Kohli formed an incredible partnership with AB de Villiers. The Indian batsman scored 109 runs in 55 balls at a strike rate of 198.2 to help RCB reach a mammoth total of 248. This target was simply too much for Gujarat Lions to chase, and RCB ended up bowling them out for just 104, winning the game by a massive margin of 144 runs.
The game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals, which took place on 6th April 2024, saw Virat Kohli score his highest score in IPL history, 113 runs, for the second time. RCB batted first, and Kohli managed to make 113 runs in 72 balls at a strike rate of 156.9 without losing his wicket. This helped RCB reach a total of 183. However, this was not enough, and Rajasthan Royals ended up chasing the target in just 19.1 overs and won the game with five balls and six wickets to spare.

The first time Virat Kohli scored 113 runs was against the Kings XI Punjab on 18th May 2016. Kohli scored 113 runs in 50 balls at a strike rate of 226 to help his team set a target of 212 in just 15 overs. According to the DLS method, the target was reduced to 203 in 14 overs, but Punjab scored just 120 runs, and Royal Challengers Bangalore ended up winning the game by a massive margin of 82 runs.
