“He Should Not Get Deviated From…”: Jaiswal’s Coach Warns Him After His First Maiden Century

“He Should Not Get Deviated From…”: Jaiswal’s Coach Warns Him After His First Maiden CenturyIndia was filled with excitement and joy on Thursday as Yashasvi Jaiswal became the fourth consecutive Mumbai batter to achieve a debut Test century for the country. His outstanding performance during the West Indies tour had already won him many fans across India, and this latest achievement only further cemented his place in the hearts of cricket enthusiasts.

Following his century on Test debut, the 21-year-old joined the ranks of fellow Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw who have accomplished the same feat. His impressive performance was first noticed when he emerged as the top scorer in the 2020 U-19 World Cup and scored a century during the semifinal match against Pakistan.

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s Coach Comments…

Jaiswal’s success is being celebrated throughout India while his coach, Jwala Singh, is seeing the results of his faith in him. Singh has always believed in Jaiswal’s potential and is pleased to see him proving his worth on a national level. As someone who has witnessed Jaiswal’s growth firsthand, the former coach is delighted to see his conviction validated

On the second day in Dominica, Jaiswal scored an impressive 143 runs from 350 balls without being dismissed, which gave India a substantial lead of 162 runs in the first innings. This came after the West Indies was bowled out for a meager 150 on the opening day..

According to the PTI news agency, when asked for his thoughts on Jaiswal’s present century. “I am pleased to see him grow,” Singh remarked. I had a hunch he’d get off to a good start. He has had four successful seasons in both the IPL and domestic cricket. He has faced most of the world’s top bowlers under lot of pressure, particularly in the IPL.”

“Jaiswal has the idea of playing with top quality bowlers,” he continued. As a player, you must develop the habit of making runs. As a coach, I constantly teach my players to focus on the ball rather than the bowler and to respond quickly to the ball.”

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s Coach Warns Him off ?

Among his many commendable remarks, he warns Jaiswal not to be so happy with this achievement, but rather to keep it simple and focus on bigger goals. “I think this will be a very good start in international cricket, but he needs to keep it simple,” he said. It is crucial as a player to do your best for the team, scoring runs for the team is a job for any player, and then look ahead.”

Jaiswal has now become the fourth player from Mumbai to achieve a debut Test century for India, along with the accomplished performances of Shreyas Iyer against New Zealand in 2021, Prithvi Shaw against West Indies in 2018, and the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma against West Indies in 2013.
