An abundance of congratulatory messages filled his Instagram comment section the moment the couple posted their beautiful pictures. The event was held at the Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar hotel.

Gaikwad shared a photo of himself and Utkarsha, writing, “From the pitch to the altar, our journey begins,” in celebration of the special moment. Utkarsha and Gaikwad were spotted together at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad after the exciting final of the IPL 2023. In one of her social media posts, Utkarsha shared a picture of herself and Gaikwad seated next to the CSK captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

WHO IS UTKARSHA PAWAR?

It is worth mentioning that Gaikwad’s wife, Utkarsha, is also a cricket player who has represented Maharashtra. She is a 24-year-old all-rounder with a specialty in fast bowling. Utkarsha’s last cricket match was nearly 18 months ago, and she is currently pursuing studies at the Institute of Nutrition and Fitness Sciences (INFS), located in Pune.

Yashasvi Jaiswal got a chance to be a reserve player for the WTC final against Australia as Gaikwad, who was named as a standby player, withdrew from the squad due to his marriage. Jaiswal had a great season for the Rajasthan Royals and was rewarded with this opportunity.
