Gujarat Titans(GT) shocked everyone by winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) in their debut season last year. The team came out all guns blazing from the word go as the Hardik Pandya-led side won ten matches in 14 league games and eventually lifted the coveted trophy.

Ahead of the upcoming IPL 2023 edition, the franchise let go of many top players. While Lockie Ferguson and Rahmanullah Gurbaz were traded to Kolkata Knight Riders, the likes of Jason Roy, Dominic Drakes, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, and Varun Aaron were released before the mini-auction.

There are very few voids in the IPL 2022 champions’ squad right now. With a purse worth Rs 19.75 crore ahead of the IPL 2023 auction, the team has a good chance of replicating its success in the next season. The IPL 2022 champions will be on the lookout for a replacement for express pacer Lockie Ferguson, who was traded to KKR in the trading window. England star Reece Topley can be an ideal replacement for the NZ star as Gujarat Titans aim to bag up a genuine speedster in IPL 2023 auction.

The fast bowler has been a solid performer in white-ball cricket over the last few years and also played a key role in England winning the ICC T20 World Cup. The left-arm speedster can be an ideal partner for Mohammed Shami and showcase his skill with the new ball. The lanky pacer can also deliver in the death overs if needed and will surely be a player GT will look to bid on at the upcoming IPL 2023 auction.

Jagadeesan has been in mad form in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 and will be one of the hottest properties up for grabs. Jagadeesan will also be a more than capable replacement for Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and the powerful opening batter can solve many top-order batting problems for GT.

Gujarat Titans’ Gujarat Titans’ potent bowling lineup will miss the services of Lockie Ferguson and Dominic Drakes, with the duo being released by the franchise ahead of IPL 2023 auction. It sees Alzarri Joseph being their sole international pacer in the team so far.

They will surely look to make an addition to this department and hope to sign Jason Holder in the upcoming IPL 2023 auction. The West Indies all-rounder Is a high-quality pace-bowling all-rounder who can be an important partner to Hardik Pandya. He can bat in the lower order and also provide good cover to the bowling unit as well.
