The 2018 World Series of Poker (WSOP) came to an end last month, and it’s going to be 10 months before the next edition of this prestigious tournament series kicks off. However, until then, poker players in USA and around the world can enjoy WSOP Circuit events, which take place in different cities in USA, while also making a few international stops.
The company recently announced another international stop, with the World Series of Poker International Circuit returning to the Holland Casino Rotterdam. The WSOP International Circuit returns to the former cultural capital of The Netherlands, with 18 events scheduled between 31st August and 8th September 2018.
Of these 18, a total of 11 events will have the coveted WSOP Circuit Rings up for grabs. The series will begin with an affordable buy-in, with the €275 WSOP Circuit Cup, while the buy-ins go higher as the series progresses, with the €3,500 WSOP Circuit High Roller also being scheduled, which was shipped by Hakim Zoufri in the inaugural stop here last year. Zoufri has several live cashes since that win last year, but no titles. Will he be able to come out and defend his title here?
Like most tournament series, the Main Event will be the highlight and here, the €1,650 WSOP Circuit Main Event kicks off on 4th September. This tournament was shipped by Ben Bensimhon last year, a poker content editor who caught eyes with his pink bunny costume in that tournament. Get the full series schedule here.
