WSOP 2020: Guy Dunlap Wins Gold Bracelet for $133K!


The guy had $106K in total live winnings and the runner-up’s Hendon Mob profile shows $2,772. Yes, we are heading towards talking about the 15th gold bracelet event in the world’s most prestigious series that has joined hands with WSOP.com (31 bacelets) and GGPoker (54 bracelets) to host the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online!

Event #15: $1,000 PLO 8-Max pulled in 663 runners out of which 99 players finished in the money after ‘wippitywap’ bubbled the tournament in 100th place. Faces from the crowd grabbing a small share from the prize pool were Erik ‘NW1Time’ Seidel (60th – $2,015), Event #13 champ Michael ‘miguelfiesta’ Lech (43rd – $2,582), Event #6 winner Nathan ‘surfbum’ Gamble (28th – $3,023), Event #3 bracelet winner Robert ‘bustinballs’ Kuhn (15th – $5,416) and so on.

It was Todd ‘chi.t.420’ Sladek who began the final table as the chip leader while two-time WSOP bracelet winner Anthony ‘heheh’ Zinno was the short stack. Eventually, Zinno was the first one to exit the FT followed by Matt ‘jacksup’ Matros, Blake ‘shampainpopn’ Whittington. Sladek bowed out in the third place giving way to heads-up between Guy ‘PhilLaak’ Dunlap (8 million chips) and Shane ‘danish01’ Daniels (4 million chips). Dunlap was ahead with nut flush and sent Daniels out to capture his first ever WSOP Gold for $133,780 in prize money! The champion bags two title in his entire live career – 2019 PacWest Poker Classic NLH for $19K and 2011 Spring Poker Roundup NLH for $11K.
