Egption Shines With Big Wins At WPT Global Summer Festival 2024

WPT Global’s Summer Festival finished on a spectacular note this Sunday, 18th August 2024 by delivering huge guarantees, cash prizes and seats to the $10,400 WPT World Championships at the Wynn in Las Vegas this December 2024. This festival received the participation of around 15,850 players across 80 countries. Intense battles at the WPT Global online felt, saw a grand end to events like the WPT500, WPT Prime and the flagship WPT Championship. Highlights Of WPT Global Summer Festival

• The WPT500 event received 898 entries, which built up a prize pool of $449,000. ‘两弹一星‘ emerged victorious in a fierce final table to claim the top prize of $83,109.
• With 615 entries, the WPT Prime finished with a total prize pool of $750,000. ‘Sucra71‘ won the title for $145,312 and a coveted seat worth $10,400 in the WPT World Championship.
• The feature event of the Summer Festival series was the WPT Championship ($3,500). With 283 entries, players competed for a share of the $1,000,000 GTD. It was ‘pas1161br‘ who overcame the tough competition and the likes of WPT Global ambassadors Patrick ‘Egption’ Tardif, Jon ‘apestyles’ Van Fleet and Brad ‘BradOwen1’ Owen for a massive payday of $206,300 + a $10,400 WPT World Championship seat. The ambassadors finished 2nd, 5th and 31st respectively.

The final day also witnessed deep runs by WPT Global ambassadors and notable players, further adding to the excitement:

• An incredible performance by Patrick ‘Egption’ Tardif saw him finish in 3rd place at the $220 Summer Festival Championship for $25,859. Egption took to his social media to discuss these deep runs and the final table experiences. This offered fans an exclusive inside look at this competition.

• Showcasing her consistency with multiple cashes was Xuan ‘XXLiu‘. She took 3rd place for $6,727 in the $330 Grand Slam and 8th in the $530 Last Chance Turbo for $1,480.
