It’s been nearly a month since the online World Poker Tour (WPT) kick-started on Adda52. During which many players have claimed their well-deserved WPT titles. Yesterday, the online felts of Adda52 witnessed another action-packed evening with the WPT events. Among the winners from last night was Vaibhav Sharma, who claimed his second WPT title. The WPT Gladiator event saw some of the best poker players in the country battle it out for the number one spot. The event had 574 entries who paid a buy-in of ₹5,500 to enter the tourney. Players who found themselves in the top 63 places made money. The min-cash paid was ₹7,500.
The final table of the event was full of intense action and tons of drama. However, in the end, it was Vaibhav Sharma, aka ‘alienrobot,’ who shipped the tourney. Sharma took home ₹7,65,000 in prize money. He also won the WPT 3000 for ₹3.43 Lakh. The runner-up position was claimed by Lavesh Meena aka ‘lavesh7,’ who added ₹4,35,000 to his bankroll.
The action continued with the WPT Mini 6-Max tournament, where 453 entries competed for that attractive prize pool. The ₹8 Lakh guarantee was crushed, and the final prize pool stood ₹9,06,000. This lucrative prize pool was distributed among the top 49 entries. The min-cash given in the tournament was ₹4,983.
Among the six final table contenders, it was mystery player ‘Hiesenberg07’ who won the tournament and added ₹2,21,970 to his bankroll. It was Gutshot Player of the Month (July 2021), Anirban Das aka ‘AjGar5,’ who finished as the runner-up. Das walked away with a pay cheque of ₹1,31,370 for his efforts.
