Poker players were excited to experience another night of thrilling poker action with Spartan Poker currently hosting its Winter Celebration Series (WCS). Mystery players dominated last night felts and pocketed big wins. Poker platforms like Adda52 and PokerBaazi held their respective marquee tournaments and managed to draw players in as well. Spartan Poker hosted its WCS Destiny tournament and saw a total of 532 entries participate in the event. The number of entries coupled with the ₹5,500 buy-in generated a prize pool of ₹26,60,000. This surpassed the advertised guarantee of ₹25 Lakh. Players who found themselves in the Top 50 places made the money and a min-cash of ₹13,300 was given. Sitting in the winner’s seat was player ‘axone’ who shipped the Destiny title for ₹6,91,600. In the runner up position, was player ‘Cost of Zero’ who took home ₹4,25,600 in prize money.
The WCS Wednesday Vibes on Spartan Poker drew in a total of 391 entries and had a buy-in of ₹2,200. The final prize pool of ₹7,82,000 surpassed the initial guarantee. The Top 39 places were played with the min-cash standing at ₹5,395. Mystery player ‘NoConnection’ grabbed the top spot and had a pay day of ₹1,17,168. In runner up position was online reg Vinay B aka ‘ConCrete’ with ₹1,10,402 added to his bankroll.
The Maverick on Adda52 had an advertised guarantee of ₹15 Lakh. A total of 542 players were ready to battle it out. The buy-in of the tournament was ₹2,750. In the end, the top 55 players finished in the money and the min-cash was ₹5,250. It was player Rahul Kumar aka ‘raul21raul’ who clinched the title spot and pocketed ₹3,90,000 in prize money. Mayank Maruka aka ‘AreyBetaRaise’ was the runner up and he walked away with ₹2,21,250.
The Pride on PokerBaazi was a success and generated a final prize pool of ₹11,38,000 which surpassed the original guarantee. The buy-in of the tournament was ₹3,850 and a total of 325 entries battled it out on the virtual felts. Out of these, only the Top 36 players were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹7,735. A mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘ReDumBell’ grabbed the winning title and took home ₹2,19,000 in prize money. The runner up was Atishay Samuel aka ‘nutscracker’ who cashed for ₹2,09,000.
