On Wednesday, several high value tournaments took place on Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, and Adda52. A few among them were The Pride, Destiny and Maverick tournament which had a prize pool of 10 Lakh and more. Let’s take a look at who shipped these tournaments on pro poker platforms yesterday.
The Destiny tournament on Spartan Poker was shipped by none other than poker pro Shardul Parthasarathi aka ‘Faucet Failure’. He thickened his bankroll with INR 6,98,100. This INR 5,500 buy-in tournament was a very successful one as the advertised guarantee was crushed and a bigger prize pool of INR 26,85,000 was formed. There were 537 entries in total and the top 50 places in this tourney were paid a min-cash of INR 13,425.
The INR 2,500 buy-in Maverick tournament on Adda52 had 669 entries in total. The top 72 places were paid a min-cash of INR 3,044. This Maverick was shipped by well-known player Gaurav Sood aka ‘gauravarod’ who cashed INR 3,80,494. Sood also featured as the cover star of Gutshot’s January e-magazine. Check it out here!
PokerBaazi’s The Pride tournament was an INR 10 Lakh GTD tournament. There were 292 entries in total in the INR 3,850 buy-in tournament. The top 36 players in this battlefield were paid a min-cash of INR 6,949. ‘tannycruz’ shipped this tournament and took home INR 2.26 Lakh in prize money.
