Vishal Ojha And Sandeep Varma Nail Top Spots On Monday


Although the ₹33 Crore GTD India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) June 2022 tournament series has been running full steam on Spartan Poker, PokerHigh, and BLITZPOKER, other online poker platforms haven’t shied away from hosting high-value events. Sandeep Varma, and Vishal Ojha among others emerged victorious last night. Keep reading to know about the events that were hosted last night. 

Iron Man – ₹8 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s Iron Man event had 380 entries in total, comprising 198 unique entries and 182 re-entries. The top 38 players made it in the money in this ₹2,400 buy-in event. The min-cash stood at ₹5,016. The tournament was shipped by Sandeep Varma aka ‘effuno’ who cashed ₹2,09,000. The event runner-up was Saurabh Rohila aka ‘saurabh21’ who pocketed ₹1,26,654. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed by a small margin and the final prize pool stood at ₹8,36,000.

PokerBaazi’s The Big Show was a ₹3,300 buy-in event. The event had 375 entries in total, 183 unique entries and 192 re-entries. The top 45 players made it in the money in this event. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹11,25,000. The event was shipped by a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘kapz’ who thickened his bankroll with ₹2,36,000. The runner-up in this event was Ritwik Khanna aka ‘Ritwikkhanna’ who cashed 1,65,000. The top 45 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹6,300 was paid.

THC #68 Superstack ₹15 Lakh GTD

The ₹1,100 THC Superstack event on PokerBaazi garnered a massive 1,461 entries in total. The top 239 players made it in the money, 774 unique entries and 687 re-entries. A min-cash of ₹1,800 was paid. The tournament was shipped by Vishal Ojha aka ‘Darky’ who fired five bullets to clinch the top spot and grabbed ₹2,29,000 in prize money. The runner-up, an anonymous player who goes by the moniker ‘broke08’ also fired two bullets and pocketed ₹1,60,000.
