Virtue Poker Integrates FunFair Wallet For Easy Crypto Transactions

Online poker site, Virtue Poker has associated with FunFair Wallet as its primary payment partner. By integrating with FunFair, Virtue Poker now enables its users to  create and manage their digital payments without having to leave the site. 

Virtue Poker, which has been in the making for about five years now, is slated to finally release before the end of May. The announcement of integrating FunFair wallet comes as good news for players as the wallet will facilitate easy and hassle-free transactions on the site.

Currently, established poker sites like PokerStars still accept fiat currencies and hold player funds on the sites. On the contrary, Virtue Poker is trying to establish newer options of transactions on its site. It is making use of Ethereum tokens, so players can transfer the tokens from their crypto wallet to the site’s sidechain. 

Smart contracts manage the sidechain, where player funds are locked securely. Whenever one wishes to use their funds, one has to unlock the funds by moving them from the sidechain back to their wallet. Virtue Poker had previously shared a video on how the funds and transactions mechanisms would work on the platform.

The platform uses a decentralized system for transfer of tokens, which means the player funds are not controlled by the platform. The integration of FunFair wallet implies that players will be able to access their FunFair wallet on the Virtue Poker site. Players will not have to quit the application to access an external wallet.

Virtue Poker is looking at establishing the brand as the first mainstream crypto gaming site. The integration of the wallet should also help people who are not very familiar with crypto payments get used to the simple interface.

On the gaming front, Virtue Poker had announced in April this year that it has become the only blockchain-based poker application to receive a remote gaming license. However, its CEO, Ryan Gittleson believes that despite operating differently than traditional online poker sites, Virtue Poker must align with current gaming standards.

By getting FunFair wallet on board, Virtue Poker has taken its next big step in the direction of becoming a mainstream poker site that players understand and more importantly, trust. The deal also paves the way ahead not only for Virtue Poker but for the crypto gaming sector at large.
