UK’s Live Poker Championship To Make A Comeback

According to a report by highstakesdb.com, the live UK Poker Championship did not take place since 2018. British casino owner, Rob Yong is all set to bring back the live UK Poker Championship. Yong recently tweeted to his followers on Twitter about suggestions regarding a venue for the UK Poker Championships. He stated that he wanted to revive the series as the country releases its COVID-19 restrictions.    

The Return of Live Poker to the UK:

Trumper reportedly told the media he was given the task of creating a schedule for the mid-stakes tournament that will take place after 18 months in the UK.

Yong expressed his interest in collaborating with major casino operators in the UK to do something extraordinary. Reports stated that the last edition of the event was a nine day tournament series which was hosted at Nottingham’s Dusk till Dawn. Buy-ins ranged from £220 – £5,500 for the super highroller. 

Further reports state that the tour stops could be tournaments worth £500 with a £1,000 grand finale that will be held at Dusk Till Dawn.

Rob Yong’s Twitter thread shows that there is a lot of eagerness among the UK live poker players to return. The news of the live game making a comeback after a hiatus of 18 months is generating a lot of interest among the poker players in the UK.
