Tuesday Round-Up: Vishal Bajaj And Vaibhav Sharma Among Others Clinch Top Spots


Tuesday night, virtual poker felts witnessed some intense action and power-packed gameplay. Top players were seen battling it out for the top spots. Online regs Vaibhav Sharma and Vishal Bajaj were seen lifting prestigious titles on Spartan Poker and PokerStars while mystery players nailed tourneys on Adda52 and PokerBaazi. Let’s have a look at the action of the night:

The Race – ₹6.75 Lakh GTD

The Race on Spartan Poker was an action-packed tourney. It witnessed 422 entries battle it out. The top 39 places made it in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹4,657. 

Mystery player ‘Kya_sceneBro’ shipped The Race for a handsome ₹1,17,726. Aakash Kedia aka ‘Drunken Monk’, finished at the runners-up spot for ₹1,07,588. Aditya Singh busted at the 13th place for ₹10,327, Aman Parakh finished 18th for ₹7,290, Arjanveer Singh Chadha finished 34th for ₹4,657 and Siddhanth Kripalani finished 39th for ₹4,657.

Players who got busted without making any money included Mohit Mehta (45th), IOPC July 2021 The Crown Main Event winner, Vaibhav Temani (50th), IOPC July 2021 Legends winner Amit Gehani (55th), Myron Periera (61st), Anirban Das (73rd) and Siddharth Gangwar (78th) busted without making any money.

Mega Stack – ₹16.50 Lakh GTD

Mega Stack on Spartan Poker witnessed some of the big names in online poker battle out on the virtual poker felts. The initial guarantee at this tourney was surpassed as the final prize pool stood at ₹16,92,000. The top 55 places out of the 564 entries were paid and the min-cash at this tourney stood at ₹8,290.

Vishal Bajaj aka ‘CrownUpJr’ aka ‘ikigai’, clinched the title for ₹2,69,630. Kaushik Tibrewal was the runners-up who took home a pay cheque of ₹2,66,733. 

IOPC July 2021 leaderboard winner Anuj Yadav finished fourth for ₹1,21,654. Ankit Bajaj finished ninth for ₹32,317, Gaurav Sood busted at the 12th spot for ₹23,180, Siddhanth Kripalani finished 21st for ₹15,058, Rohan Bhasin finished 24th for ₹13,366, Manish Lakhotia finished 28th for ₹11,674, Gutshot’s Player of the Month- July 2021 Anirban Das finished 28th for ₹11,674 and Vinayak Bajaj finished 41st for ₹8,290.

WSOP bracelet winner Kartik Ved bubbled at this tourney at the 56th place. Other players who got busted without making any money include Siddharth Gangwar (61st), IOPC Legends second runner-up Sumit Sapra (62nd), Sahil Mahboobani (63rd), Abhimanyu Mittal (66th), Arjanveer Singh Chadha (71st), IOPC Legends 2021 runner-up Arsh Grover (81st), Vishnu Khandelwal (86th), Ankit Wadhawan (98th), IOPC July 2021 The Crown Main Event runner-up Aditya Agarwal (101st), Gutshot’s June 2021 e-magazine cover star Siddhanth Kapoor (112nd) and IOPC July 2021 Legends winner Amit Gehani (113rd) among others.

The Mint – ₹14 Lakh GTD

The Mint returned to Adda52 after a long time. The tourney witnessed 404 entries as the advertised guarantee was surpassed to generate a final prize pool of ₹14,14,000. The top 43 places were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹7,777.

Mystery player ‘abhijay786nov’ emerged victorious and laughed his way to the bank with ₹3,50,672. The runner-up at this tourney was a mystery ‘chirandh,’ who walked away with ₹2,12,100. 

WSOP bracelet winner Kartik Ved finished ninth for ₹22,624 at this tourney. Gutshot’s January 2021 e-magazine cover star, Gaurav Sood finished 11th for ₹17,675, Aditya Singh busted at the 23rd spot for ₹10,605 and Ritwik Khanna busted at the 39th spot for ₹7,777.

The Endeavour – ₹12 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour was as usual an interesting tourney with top players slogging hard for the top spots. Out of the 342 entries at this tourney the top 45 places made it in the money. The min-cash at this tourney stood at ₹6,720.

Mystery player ‘Royalflush84’ nailed the tourney and added ₹2,52,000 to his bankroll. At the runner-up spot was Mega Stack winner Vishal Bajaj aka ‘Vishzz.’ Bajaj pocketed ₹1,76,000 from this runner-up finish after four re-entries.

Vinay Rajpal finished third for ₹1,13,000, WSOP bracelet winner Kartik Ved finished fourth for ₹84,000, Kritagya Sharma finished 13th for ₹15,000, Dhinesh Kumar finished 19th for ₹11,280, two-time IOPC leaderboard winner Bhanu Prakash finished 20th for ₹11,280, Mohit Mehta finished 35th for ₹7,800, Tanmay Benara finished 36th for ₹7,800 and Anirban Das finished 38th for ₹6,720.

Players who couldn’t make in the money included Chirag Sodha (49th), Siddhanth Kripalani with seven re-entries (59th), Manish Lakhotia (60th), Bounty Builder winner Vaibhav Sharma (61st), Aman Parakh (63rd), Arjanveer Singh Chadha (68th) and Sahil Mahboobani (73rd).

Bounty Builder – ₹10 Lakh GTD

Bounty Builder on PokerStars witnessed 121 entries. The top 15 places were paid at this tourney as the min-cash stood at ₹10,834.

WPT Day 21: Vaibhav Sharma and ‘xoredvoid’ Ship Major WPT Events On Adda52

Vaibhav Sharma aka ‘GTO_LIFE_GG’ shipped the tourney and cashed ₹1,26,360. Sagar Chaudhury aka ‘sagarpupull’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹97,372 with two re-entries .

Bharath Kumar finished fifth for ₹57,820. Mega Stack winner Vishal Bajaj made it in the money at this tourney too. He finished at the 9th spot for 17,407. 

Anirban Das busted at the 18th spot for no money. Siddharth Gangwar (26th) and WSOP bracelet winner Kartik Ved (45th) also busted without making any money at this tourney.
