Triton Poker Player: Mikita Badziakouski

There are winners at the Triton Poker Series, and then there is Mikita Badziakouski, who made headlines and carved a name for himself from the series. The two-time Triton Poker Main Event winner has been a regular in the series almost since its early editions. 

Triton Poker is one of the most premium poker series in the world. Founded in 2016, the Triton Poker Series today continues to attract some of the top pros and notable names from the poker fraternity. With a history that has only gotten better edition-on-edition, Triton Poker Series is synonymous with riches and luxury today. Let’s have a look at how Badziakouski has made a mark in the series and how Triton Poker Series has helped shape his career.

Who is Mikita Badziakouski?

Mikita Badziakouski is a Belarusian professional poker player who began playing live poker games at the age of 18 in 2010. He started playing the World Series of Poker (WSOP) as soon as he turned 21. Since then, he has one WSOP bracelet and five cashes to his name, all of which are final table finishes. 

He flaunts a total of $38,442,022 in live tournament winnings, as per Hendon Mob. Additionally, the Belarusian ranks 10th on Hendon Mob’s All Time Money List, apart from his number one rank on the Belarus Money list. 

Mikita Badziakouski Triton Poker Series:

Mikita Badziakouski made his Triton Poker debut in 2017 at the Philippines edition, where he recorded one cash on the final table of the 25K 6-Max event. He finished seventh at the event for $52,187. The following year, he busted 8th at the Montenegro Main Event for $219,370. 

Next up was 2018, which was the best year for Badziakouski. Why? Well, he first took down the Main Event at Triton Poker Montenegro 2018 for $2,499,184. The series returned for another edition the same year, this time in Jeju Island. In his edition, Badziakouski not only took fifth place at Triton Hold’em event but went on to defend his Main Event winner title and pocketed his career best of $5,257,027. 

In the following 2019 Jeju edition of the Triton Poker Series, he recorded one more cash by finishing seventh at Short Deck Ante Only event for $210,236. At the 2019 Montenegro edition, he first finished fourth at the NLH Main Event, followed by a 10th-place finish at the Short Deck Main Event. Later he managed to take down the Short Deck Ante Only event at the same edition for $1,694,397. He also won other short deck events at King’s Casino Rozvadov and came to be known as the ‘Short Deck Poker king.’

List Of Triton Poker Main Event Winners

The Triton Poker London 2019 was a dry season for the 31-year-old with no cash across seven events he played at this edition. At the 2022 Cyprus edition, Badziakouski finished third at NLH Turbo event. 

Then came the Triton Poker Madrid 2022 edition, and the Belarus player won his fourth Triton Poker title at NLH 7-Handed event for $1,407,519. This was followed by a third-place finish at the Short Deck Main Event. 

He recorded two more final table cashes at Triton Poker North Cyprus 2022 for his third and fourth-place finish at NLH 8-handed Turbo and Short Deck Ante-Only events, respectively. At the ongoing Triton Poker Vietnam 2023, he finally cashed at the 6th place at Short Deck Ante-Only event after 10 events without a cash at this edition. 

This brings Badziakouski’s tally to four titles and 15 cashes from the Triton Poker Series. He ranks fifth on Triton Poker’s All-Time Money list with a total earning of $15,049,717 from the series. He is also fifth on Triton Poker’s list of most cashes. The Belarusian is one of the only two players at the Triton Poker Series to have two Main Event titles to their name, apart from being the only player to have won two consecutive Triton Poker Main Event titles.
