With tournament poker booming across the Asia Pacific region, a new brand is set to make a grand entrance in Metro Manila, Philippines. The Manila Poker Cup, in partnership with Lucky Poker Tour, is gearing up for a bold debut from 4th to 10th September 2024, featuring a generous PHP 32,000,000 (~USD 566,630) festival prize pool.

The series will be hosted at Newport World Resorts, Pasay, and includes a full lineup of eighteen trophy tournaments. Buy-ins range from PHP 8,800 (~USD 155) to PHP 150,000 (~USD 2,650), with the highlight being the PHP 20,000,000 (~USD 354,145) guaranteed MPC Main Event.

The MPC Main Event is the crown jewel of the series, with a PHP 40,000 (~USD 700) buy-in and a PHP 20,000,000 (~USD 354,145) guarantee. The event kicks off on Thursday, September 5, and runs five flights through the weekend. Players start with a stack of 30,000 and navigate forty-minute blind levels (twenty minutes for Turbo) to reach Day 2, which features fifty-minute blinds. Registration remains open through the first nine levels, with unlimited re-entries per flight.
