Just three months later, Tony G earned his then biggest tournament cash in the WPT Grand Prix de Paris in 2004. Here, Guoga took the runner-up spot behind England’s Surinder Sunar to grab a pay cheque of $4,14,478.

Tony G finished on the bubble at the WPT 2004 Mirage Poker Showdown in the same month for $67,505. He also shipped the £5,000 No-limit Texas Hold’em Main Event at the European Poker Championships for a prize money of $4,56,822 (£260,000) in August 2005.
Tony G reportedly played his first WSOP game in April 2004. Here, the Kaunas resident had a payday of $2,140 in the $1,500 Seven Card Stud event at the 35th WSOP in Las Vegas. This player who holds the numero uno spot has not yet claimed any WSOP bracelets or rings and has cashed 20 times at the coveted series. 16 of these came from WSOP Las Vegas for a total sum of $5,22,082 and the remaining four came from WSOP Europe for prize money adding up to $13,64,632.
This player’s Hendon Mob stats show him as the 92nd player on the All Time Money List. His total live earnings stand at $11,295,296. Tony G’s largest cash grab came in May 2022 when he came second at the €100,000 No-Limit Short Deck Hold’em – Main Event #12 for an enticing figure of $13,89,436.
