Sunday Roundup: Sriharsha, Singhvi dominate the day!


It was a smashing Sunday on the online felts! Talk of the virtual felts was Spartan Poker’s IOPC The Millionaire Legends as well as Adda52’s APF Full House Finale. So, let’s quickly get into the details to unveil the champions of the Sunday night across the major Indian felts…

IOPC #75 The Millionaire Legends

The BIGGEST attraction on Sunday night across the Indian felts was IOPC #75 The Millionaire Legends INR 1.5 Crore GTD on Spartan Poker! The two-day INR 27,500 buy-in event comprised of three starting flights that attracted 819 entries, strong enough to produce a guarantee-smashing prize pool worth INR 2.04 Crore. ‘ashwani.kumar745’ bubbled the tournament and money reached the top 127 places with Sriharsha Doddapaneni aka ‘Potato Player’ powering through the field to clinch an enormous prize money. The champion railed out ‘Queenhigh’ in heads-up adding another valuable title to his poker cabinet.

IOPC #73 Sunday SuperStack

Spartan Poker’s  popular flagship tourney IOPC #73 Sunday SuperStack INR 60 Lakhs GTD pulled in a giant field of 1,214 entries such that the guarantee was surpassed once again. Climbing up to the top was first-ever Millionaire United winner Mahima Walia Das aka ‘mambojojo’ who knocked out ‘KUBERA33’ in heads-up to take home the prestigious title. The top 119 spots received a paycheck of INR 13K as min-cash.

IOPC #74

Grabbing his second IOPC title on Spartan Poker was online regular Anish Suri aka ‘anishsuri’ took down INR 6.5 Lakhs GTD IOPC #74. The tourney brought in 716 hopefuls to generate a smashing INR 7.16 Lakhs prize pools. Suri proved triumphant over the field defeating ‘mariokart’ in heads-up to pocket the top prize. The champion had previously won IOPC #6 INR 15L GTD outlasting a field of 700+ entries.

BSS SuperStack

PokerBaazi’s mainstay Sunday event, the BSS SuperStack INR 25 Lakhs GTD clocked in 473 entries resulting. Making the most of the value on the offer were the top 54 players who went out grabbing a min-cash. Sreekanth Narayan aka ‘n0thing’ shot to the top, claiming the title and capturing INR 5,03 Lakhs in first-place prize money after knocking out ‘intervntion’ in heads-up who secured INR 3.52 Lakhs for finishing second.

BSS MegaStack

The BSS MegaStack INR 8 Lakhs GTD was another event on PokerBaazi that attracted a strong field of 274 entries. Topping the competition was well-known circuit grinder Nadeem Basha aka ‘SpadeHunter’ who eliminated Vinay B aka ‘Vinstill’ heads-up to bank the winner’s paycheque worth INR 1.77 Lakh while the latter pocketed INR 1.24 Lakh for his runner-up finish.

APF Big Slick

Adda52’s APF Big Slick INR 15 Lakhs GTD drew 576 entries this Sunday. The buy-in to the event was INR 2,500 and only the top 62 could turn that into INR 8,088. With the massive value on offer Abhineet Jain aka ‘pokemon13’ was the one who benefitted the most. Jain outlasted ‘whodahellru’ in heads-up to clinch to the title for INR 2.74 Lakhs in first prize with the latter settling to runner-up position for INR 2 Lakhs.

APF Millions

On Adda52, Sanket Jain aka ‘cowboy12’ displayed top form yesterday as he outran a field of 275 entries to take down the APF Millions INR 25 Lakhs GTD. This led to the creation of INR 27,50,000 worth prize pool. Money reached the top 30 places, but the lion’s share belonged to Jain. The winner defeated ‘messi53k’ in heads-up and claimed INR 7.04 Lakhs in prize money. The latter went out with INR 4.19 Lakhs for finishing second.

APF Full House Finale

The second biggest event of the day was APF Full House INR 1 Crore GTD on Adda52. The INR 5,500 buy-in event comprised of 5 starting flights and on the final day 207 players took their seats battling for the top prize. Banking a colossal INR 21 Lakhs in prize money, the second largest score of the day belonged to Siddarth Singhvi aka ‘badtameez_donk’ who defeated Sahil Chutani aka ‘bluffme19’ in heads-up. The latter seized the INR 13.20 Lakhs in for his efforts, finishing second.

Sunday Highroller

Following a heads-up deal, Rajat Sharma aka ‘sharabikababi’ emerged triumphant in PokerStars India’s Sunday Highroller INR 15 Lakhs GTD. The event drew 121 entries after out of which the top 20 places earned a min-cash. Sharma grabbed the largest portion of the final prize pool INR 3.14 Lakhs in top prize while Sagar Choudhury aka ‘sagarpupull’ finished in the runner-up position of IN 2.56 Lakhs.

Sunday Special

PokerStars India’s Sunday Special Progressive KO INR 18 Lakhs GTD was another event on the Sunday list. Registering 324 entries and generating INR 9.90 Lakhs in regular prize pool and INR 8.10 Lakhs in bounty prize pool. For each player elimination INR 1,250 was awarded. It was Anmol Mehta aka ‘Kaanchacheena’ who took down the tournament for INR 1.84 Lakh payday. Mehta beat Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘inaboobham’ in heads-up who captured INR 1.34 Lakh.
