The virtual felts were blazing with action on Sunday night. With more than six high-value tournaments being hosted, players flocked to various online poker platforms to make the most of an exciting Sunday night. Here’s what went down yesterday.

BSS #4 SuperStack – ₹20 Lakh

PokerBaazi’s BSS #4 SuperStack with a ₹21.25 Lakh prize pool attracted 425 entries. Top 54 places made it in the money and pocketed a min-cash of ₹9,775.

The tournament ended in a deal between poker pros Ritwik Khanna aka ‘Ritwikkhanna’ and Vishnu Khandelwal aka ‘violator.’ Khanna added ₹3.66 Lakh to his bankroll, while Khandelwal walked away with ₹3.61 Lakh. At the third spot was a mystery player ‘kissmyass’ for ₹1.93 Lakh.

Arjanveer Singh Chadha (12th, ₹31,240), Sanish Chhabra (15th, ₹25,500), IOPC January 2021 winner, Laksh Pal Singh (17th, ₹21,890), Gutshot’s ‘Player of the Month’ Anirban Das (18th, ₹21,890), Vinay Rajpal (20th, ₹19,130), WSOP bracelet winner, Aditya Sushant (21st, ₹19,130), Arun Sriram (22nd, ₹17,210), Chirag Sodha (23rd, ₹17,210), Aditya Singh (32nd, ₹13,180), IOPC July 2021 commentator Goonjan Mall (42nd, ₹11,480), Md Zeeshan (49th, ₹9,775), Ram Kakkar (50th, ₹9,775) and Ankit Wadhawan (52nd, ₹9,775) were some players who finished in the money.

Vinayak Bajaj was the bubble boy at the 55th spot. Siddhanth Kripalani with four re-entries (59th), NPS #93 Main Event winner, who bagged a massive ₹50,13,000 prize winning, Mohammad Azhar (66th), IPC January 2020 winner, Rubin Labroo (68th), Sanat Mehrotra with seven re-entries (83rd), Sagar Choudhury (84th), Myron Pereira with four re-entries (87th), Dishani Vijay with four re-entries (92nd), Abhimanyu Mittal (102nd) and Mithun Mahesh with three re-entries (113th) were some players who busted early.

Highroller – ₹10 Lakh

PokerStars hosted this Highroller event which was bustling with energy. Well-known names from the poker circuit were battling it out. The tournament’s initial guarantee was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹11,62,000. 166 entries fought hard for the top title. Top 20 places made a min-cash of ₹16,238.

Ujjwal Narwal aka ‘CougarHunter69’ and anonymous player ‘kimi_nj’ ended the tournament in a deal; both players cashed ₹2,09,174 and ₹2,06,351 respectively. Arun Sriram finished third for ₹1,40,247.

WSOP bracelet winner, Abhinav Iyer (6th, ₹64,964), IOPC #90 Sunday Prime winner, Rubin Labroo (11th, ₹27,424), Goonjan Mall (14th, ₹19,337), Ankit Wadhawan (18th, ₹16,238) and Vishal Bajaj (19th, ₹16,238) made it to the top 20 paid places.

Sagar Choudhury with six re-entries(25th), Guruprasad Gupta (26th), IOPC #11 Blaze of Glory runner-up, Ashwin Vijay (27th), Manish Lakhotia (31st), Mithun Mahesh (38th), Shagun Jain (42nd), Sanish Chhabra (43rd), Laksh Pal Singh (46th), Anirban Das (47th), Gaurav Sood (48th) and Armaan Kochhar (55th) were players who left this tourney empty-handed.

Sunday Special on PokerStars was indeed a special one. 256 entries fought for the title spot, while the top 27 places walked away with a min-cash of ₹9,710 by finishing in the money.

Aditya Singh aka ‘ukid767’ and mystery player ‘Rjnshpl’ made a deal and both received ₹1,46,080 in prize money. Anonymous player ‘tabahi2k18’ secured the third spot for ₹96,575.

Mystery player ‘him_070793’ topped the table and took home a pay cheque of ₹2,63,002. At the runner-up spot was Vishal Bajaj, who had a pay day of ₹2,02,434, while anonymous player ‘Dawn11600’ walked away with ₹1,55,802 at the third spot.

As the name suggests, this tournament had a massive sum on offer. 242 entries flooded Adda52’s online felts to grab the top spot at this ₹11,000 buy-in tournament. However, only the top 24 places enjoyed a min-cash of ₹21,250.

Jaideep Sajwan aka ‘nawjas’ topped the table and added an impressive ₹6,86,250 to his bankroll. The runner-up spot was claimed by ‘MallaNi,’ who cashed ₹4,00,000. At the third spot was Haider Madraswala aka ‘Donktown22,’ who took home ₹3,00,000 in prize money.

Abhimanyu Mittal ak ‘PsychoDrama’ shipped this tourney and pocketed an impressive sum of ₹2,81,761 in prize money. The runner-up and second runner-up positions were claimed by RM aka ‘Happyfish’ and Sanchit Pande aka ‘TheRedWaste’ for ₹2,06,530 and 1,51,386 respectively.
