Gaurav Sood became the biggest winner last night as he clinched the DOPT Highroller title on Adda52. Not only Sood, but several well known players tried their hand at online tournaments. Well-known poker player Gaurav Sood clinched yet another title as he shipped the Highroller event on Adda52. Sood, who is also Gutshot’s January 2021 cover star took home ₹13,50,000 in prize money. The runner up in this ₹27,500 buy-in event was Sandeep Thakral aka ‘thak’ who cashed ₹8,50,000. This tournament had 156 entries in total. The top 17 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹75,000 was paid. Several well known players namely Ritwik Khanna (3rd, ₹6,25,000), Ayush Garg (4th, ₹4,62,500), Aniket Sharma (6th,₹2,37,500), Vinayak Bajaj (8th, ₹1,50,000), Ankit Bajaj (9th, ₹1,25,000) among others also made it in the money.
The Superstack tournament on PokerBaazi was shipped by well known player Jasven Saigal aka ‘JasvenSaigal’ who had a payday of ₹4,20,000. The runner up in this event was a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘Jp19’ who took home ₹2,94,000. The ₹5,500 buy-in tournament had 395 entries in total. The top 45 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹11,200 was paid.
Abhishek Chaurasia aka ‘Bittur’ shipped the Sunday Superstack tournament on Spartan Poker. Chaurasia took home ₹6,70,455 in prize money. The runner up in this event was a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘Mokshita.’ This player took home ₹4,51,408. The tournament had 317 entries in total. The top 31 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹27,896 was paid. The advertised guarantee for this event was crushed and the final prize pool stood at ₹31,70,000.

Spartan Poker’s Money Heist tournament was shipped by Sanchit Nag aka ‘scofield1210’ who had a pay day of ₹1,36,718. The runner up in this event was Kapil Sachdeva aka ‘1Legend91’ who took home ₹94,273 in prize money. The tournament had 642 entries in total. The top 63 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹3,480 was paid.
PokerStars hosted an exclusive Diwali Rush tournament on Sunday. This bounty event was a deal between two anonymous players, namely ‘Anantaum’ and ‘thekiterunner.’ Both the players cashed ₹87,586 in prize money. While ‘Anantaum’ nailed the event, the player took home ₹76,801 in bounty money, the other mystery player ‘thekiterunner’ fired three bullets and cashed ₹16,523 in bounty money. The ₹2,750 buy-in tournament had 367 entries in total. The top 39 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹4,403 was paid.
