Sumit Lalchandani Ships DPT 2022 Main Event For Over

Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) is one of the biggest live poker brands in the country and recently, they wrapped up their latest edition in Goa wit the conclusion of the highlight event of the series – the Main Event. Day 2 was hosted yesterday and saw a total of 212 survivors, with Sumit Lalchandani eventually shipping the Main Event for a massive prize of ₹35,64,350.

The runner-up in the event was Sandeep Gupta, who walked away with a decent second-place prize of ₹25,10,600. The second runner-up in this event was Final Table Series 3.0 Main Event winner (on Spartan Poker) Ankit Wadhawan. Wadhawan, who pocketed ₹16,14,400 at the event, has also graced the October 2021 edition of Gutshot’s e-magazine.

The total prize pool of the event stood at ₹1,88,47,950, with the top ten players made it to the money. The Main Event final tablists included the top three winners, Aditya Singh, Sandip Gupta, Neeraj S, World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner and Spartan Poker Pro Nikita Luther, Mohit Bohra and Kshitij Kucheria. The other two players who busted on the 9th and 10th spot were Alok Birewar and Sameer Agarwal, cashing ₹3,58,100 and ₹2,63,400 respectively.
