Steve Aoki Said THIS About Dan Bilzerian’s Poker Skills

While many may question Dan Bilzerian’s skill on the poker felts, popular DJ Steve Aoki admits that the Instagram influencer is actually a good poker player. In an interview with Poker News, the World Poker Tour (WPT) ambassador revealed interesting details about his long friendship with the infamous king of Instagram and his poker skills!

The 44-year-old celebrity had hosted a WPT-sponsored home game at his Las Vegas playhouse. The SNG (Sit N Go) home game was won by Christophe Osse, a big Aoki fan, who defeated poker giants like Phil Ivey, Maria Ho, Vince Van Patten. Osse won a $10,000 WPT passport for his victory. Following the win, Aoki was also interviewed on many topics one among them being Dan Bilzerian.

When asked about Bilzerian’s poker skills, Aoki replied, “A lot of people don’t realize this, but (Dan Bilzerian) is a great poker player.”

Bilzerian, a GGPoker ambassador, claims to have amassed more than $50 million mostly from playing poker. He also claimed that a majority of this amount was won against billionaire Alec Gores. Bilzerian also offered to play a $100 million heads-up challenge againts Gores, but has not yet received an answer.

Aoki further said, “Before Bilzerian was a celebrity, he was a poker player. He was always at the tables playing big games back in 2006 when I first met him. When I was just getting into poker, I didn’t know him too well, but I knew he was a big high-stakes poker player.”

Bilzerian’s poker skills have long been a topic of speculation and discussion among poker fans and enthusiasts. However, according to Aoki, the social media star does know how to play and is apparently really good at it.

Aoki has been competing in the poker space for a good number of years. During his heyday, Aoki used to visit Commerce Casino in Los Angeles to grind in low-stakes games.

“I’d grind it out at the $1/$2 table and $2/$5, that was my game at the very beginning because back then when I was DJing in 2004/2005, it was like a couple hundred bucks,” recalled Aoki.

With WPT hiring him as its newest brand ambassador, Aoki’s contribution to the poker industry is something that we all are excited about. While Aoki does testify to Bilzerian’s poker skills, unless we see it in action, it looks like we’ll never truly know.
