Spartan’s Little Big Series starts this Thursday

We just about caught our breath with the completion of the Spartan Super Series (SSS) when its time for poker lovers to set their sights on the next tournament series taking place at The Spartan Poker. Since its introduction, less than a year ago, the Little Big Series (LBS), has proved to be a big hit with the players. As the name suggests, the LBS is made up of small buy-in tournaments that deliver big value guarantees. 

Highlight Events

The series will take place at The Spartan Poker from 23-26 August and has a total of 18 events on the schedule. The highlights of the LBS include the Mini Biggie, LBS’s Highroller tournament which features a buy-in of INR 3,300 and a guaranteed prizepool of INR 5 Lakhs. Sandeep ‘effuno’ Varma was the winner of this tournament in the July edition taking home a sweet INR 1,27,750 for his efforts. The following day i.e. 25 August will see the INR 550 LBS Warm Up take place with an INR 2 Lakhs guarantee. 

The highlight tournament of the LBS is of course the Main Event which has a buy-in of INR 1,500 and a massive guarantee of INR 10 Lakhs! Recent SSS side event winner ‘Exit the Matrix’ was the one who claimed a win in the last LBS Main Event for a sum of INR 1,91,900. An excellent payday for the small buy-in! Leaderboard

As is the case with all series at The Spartan Poker, this Little Big Series will also reward participating players over and above the collected prizepools of each tournament. Players who finish in the money will earn leaderboard points and the top 5 players will free tickets into Spartan’s signature tournaments (Millionaire and 2 of a Kind) for making it to the top with the LBS leaderboard.

Satellites

While this is a low buy-in tournament series, Spartan offers even more value by hosting a number of satellites into the Mini Biggie and the Main Event. There will be regular satellites as well as One-Hand and Flip sattys starting as low as INR 49!
