Spartan DeepStack: ‘bluffmenot’ wins the Main Event


DS copyThe recent conclusion of DeepStack Series saw huge guarantee crushes and many players walking with many titles. There were many high value tournament winners including HighRoller champion ‘Ballaladeva’ took home INR 8,33,625, ‘bluffmenot’ took down the Main Event title for INR 7.11 Lakhs while it was ‘maakaphone’ to top the leaderboard for INR 5 Lakhs and also the Player of the series title.

DeepStack Series #13 INR 550 (80K GTD) (PLO) RE

The day began with the PLO event attracted 236 entries making a prizepool of INR 1,18,000 which was distributed to 15 players with a min cash of INR 2,242. It was ‘maakaphone’ who took down the title for INR 33,040. ‘maakaphone’ outlasted ‘Remote’ who collected INR 21,535 for second place finish.

DeepStack Series #14 INR 770 (125K GTD) RE

The second event drew 340 entries creating a prizepool of INR 2,38,000. Top 24 players took a share of the prizepool with a min cash of INR 2,380. ‘mickey’ outlasted ‘Psyclone’ in heads-up battle for INR 36,276. ‘Psyclone’ took home INR 26,452 for the impressive finish.

 

DeepStack Series #15 INR 2,750 (500K GTD) RE

290 participants participated in this event generating a prizepool of INR 7,25,000 which was distributed to top 24 players with a min cash of INR 7,250. It was ‘Omaha4rollz’ who took down the title for INR 1,66,750. ‘Omaha4rollz’ defeated Mani ‘king.of.Queens’ Singh in heads-up battle for INR 1,12,012.

Singh who is a former India Poker Championship (IPC) 10K Kickoff winner, Dec 2015 and also runner-up in January Millionaire said, “It’s always been a good experience playing on TheSpartanPoker.com. I personally like to play deep structure tournaments.”

DeepStack Series #16 INR 27,500 HighRoller (25L GTD) RE

The HighRoller tournament attracted 117 entries crushing the prizepool and landing it to INR 29,25,000. Top 12 players took a share of the prizepool with min cash of INR 65,813. It was ‘Ballaladeva’ who outlasted Siddarth ‘PeterPunter’ Singhvi in heads-up battle.

The final hand of the tournament was in Level #45 with blinds running 24,000-48,000-6,000. ‘Ballaladeva’ holding As Ad and ‘PeterPunter’ with 3d Kh shoved on the turn. The board ran Kc 5c 5s Ts Qs which gave two pairs, Aces and Fives to ‘Ballaladeva’ and also HighRoller title. ‘Ballaladeva’ collected INR 8,33,625 while ‘PeterPunter’ took home INR 5,41,125.

DeepStack Series #17 INR 5,500 (10L GTD) RE

The 17th event of the series drew 265 participants making a prizepool of INR 13,25,000 which was distributed to top 24 players with a min cash of INR 13,200. It was ‘Likeaboss85’ to take down the title defeating Sumit ‘boronyx’ Sapra in heads-up battle. Sapra recently shipped India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) Super HighRoller title. ‘Likeaboss85’ took home INR 3,03,600 for the win while Sapra collected INR 2,03,940.

DeepStack Series #18 INR 550 (150K GTD) RE 

‘jewel84’ emerged victorious in this event outlasting 294 entries in the tournament and defeating Mani ‘king.of.Queens’ Singh in final round of the tournament. ‘jewel84’ collected INR 24,726 while Singh took home INR 22,051.

DeepStack Series #19 INR 770 (200K GTD) RE

This event saw 362 participants making a prizepool of INR 2,53,400 which was distributed to top 27 players with a min cash of INR 2,280. Coming on top it was ‘Rycbnr1234’ to knock down the field and win the final round against ‘kochivi’ in heads-up battle. ‘Rycbnr1234’ took INR 42,232 on first place prize and ‘kochivi’ collected INR 40,277.

DeepStack Series #20 INR 1,100 (200K GTD) RE

309 entries in this event made a prizepool of INR 3,09,000 which was collected by top 27 players with a min cash of INR 2,781. Destiny winner Nishant ‘DoJingBULLETS’ Sharma defeated Vinnay B ‘vinstill’ in heads-up battle to claim the title. Sharma collected INR 67,980 on his win while ‘vinstill’ took home INR 46,041.

DeepStack Series #21 INR 11,000 Main Event (25L GTD) RE

The show stopper Main Event drew 339 entries to crush the guarantee prizepool and make it to INR 33,90,000. Top 30 players took a share from the prizepool with a min cash of INR 25,425. Online reg ‘bluffmenot’ came on top at the end of the tournament to claim the title defeating ‘Biru123’ in heads-up battle.

Speaking to the winner ‘bluffmenot’ said, “The tournament structure was brilliant and considering it’s my viggest win I really want to thank TheSpartanPoker for providing us this awesome platform. In this tournament Anuj ‘aatmaan’ Kodam as my toughest competitor as he was putting a lot of ICM pressure.”

‘bluffmenot’ shared some key hands saying, “One key hand where I called an all-in of a big stack for

 BB’s with QJ suited and won against his Kx 2x. Even though it was a technically wrong call as pay jumps were good I am happy that I got lucky and the game turned around us.” ‘bluffmenot’ received INR 7,11,900 on his win while ‘Biru123’ collected INR 4,98,330.

DeepStack Series #22 INR 5,500 (10L GTD) RE

The last event of the series attracted 307 entries making a prizepool of INR 15,35,000 which was distributed to top 27 players with a min cash of INR 13,815. ‘instatank’ took the last title of the series for INR 3,37,700 defeating ‘Vishkrish’ in heads-up battle. ‘Vishkrish’ collected INR 2,28,715 for second place finish.
