Brands like PokerBaazi, Spartan Poker, Adda52, and PokerStars welcomed players to their marque high-value events. While there were hundreds of players some emerged victorious, let’s take a look at what went down.
The Mega Stack on Spartan Poker has a ₹20 Lakh guarantee and a total of 522 entries. Out of this 246 were unique players, 100 were re-entries, and 176 were re-buys. The event had a ₹4,400 buy-in and the final prize pool was ₹20,88,000 which crushed the original guarantee. The top 47 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹11,901. Siddharth Kadel aka ‘FLIPopotamus’ shipped the tournament and had a pay day of ₹4,06,951. The runner-up was Samit Mehta aka ‘waghoneblood$’ who went home with ₹2,58,494 in prize money.
The Tuesday High Roller on Spartan Poker had a ₹15 Lakh guarantee and a total of 176 entries. Out of this 83 were unique players, 33 were re-entries, and 56 were re-buys. The event had a buy-in worth ₹11,000 and the final prize pool worth ₹17,20,000 crushed the original guarantee. The top 17 places were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹27,007. Ashit Sharma aka ‘D. Vikas Yadav aka ‘nohomejerome’ was the runner-up for ₹2,46,000.
PokerBaazi’s Holdem Boost event had a ₹10 Lakh guarantee and a ₹1,100 buy-in. The event saw a total of 1,355 entries grind in the event. The tournament had a guarantee crushing prize pool of ₹13,55,000. The top 277 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹1,760. Akhilesh Chauhan aka ‘Ikka5’ shipped the event and pocketed ₹1,82,000 in winnings. Player ‘Vjp4377’ was the runner-up and received ₹1,41,000 in prize money.
The Bounty Builder on PokerStars attracted a total of 124 entries which was made up of 76 unique players and 48 re-entries. This brought the total to 124. The top 13 players finished in the money and the min-cash was ₹11,806. Ritwik Khanna aka ‘Fisherman1997’ shipped the event and scored ₹1,31,850 bounty money and ₹1,07,221 from the regular prize pool. Arman Khan aka ‘huger_pen’was the runner-up and he scored ₹10,500 in bounty and ₹1,07,221 from the regular prize pool.
