Shravan Chhabria starts his weekend with TGIF win on Spartan!

Every Friday, Spartan hosts two major tournaments, TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday) INR 10 Lakhs GTD and The Elite INR 20 Lakhs GTD. All 7 days of the week, Spartan Poker organizes thrilling actions attracting huge number of Indian participants, and Fridays are always the best of the lot.

The most awaited day of the week saw TGIF pulling 649 players (re-entries 99 and rebuys 265) for INR 1650 buy-in. Such massive number of entries was seen due to the smaller buy-in and higher value. The top 55 places were offered a paycheck in this event.

Shravan Chhabria plays under the name ‘D.Trump04’ and he triumphed the online tournament, playing against ‘Affinity’ heads-up; the game turned out to be quite fascinating. Chhabria is among the most well recognized poker faces in the country and yesterday, he added another title to his trophy cabinet.

The late-night tournament concluded at 3:41am with several notable participations. Among the known players to reach the final table was Sumit Sapra (5^th) who has frequent online tournament achievements.

Just as the name suggests, The Elite INR 20 Lakhs GTD is played by the top poker players in the country, hosted by Spartan Poker every Friday. The game saw a total of 298 entries (re-entries 36 and rebuys 59) for INR 11,000 buy-in and top 20 places saw a paycheck. ‘ddege001’ topped the tournament after finishing at 5:33am and bagging the title and the top prize after beating Lakshpal Singh aka ‘LuckyBhai$’ in heads-up.
