Saturday Round Up: Vinay B Emerges Biggest Winner Of The Night

Saturday night on the virtual felts of Spartan Poker and Adda52 witnessed some action-packed tourneys. As some of the top players were seen grinding for the top spots, Vinay B emerged victorious. Let’s do a quick recap of the tourneys of the night:

Excalibur – ₹10 Lakh GTD

Excalibur on Adda52 was a star-studded affair. The tourney witnessed 430 players as the top 43 players made in the money. The min-cash at the tourney stood at ₹4,500.

Vinay B aka ‘ContemporisT’ shipped the tourney and added ₹1,86,340 to his bankroll. At the runner-up spot was Honey Bijlani aka ‘ho9ey’ who took home a pay cheque of ₹1,77,977. Other players who made in the money included Siddharth Kadel (13th, ₹12,500), Surbhit Grover (15th, ₹11,000), Ashwin Vijay (22nd, ₹7,000), Ram Kakkar (36th, ₹5,000) and Aman Parakh (42nd, ₹4,500).

Mukkamaar – ₹8 Lakh GTD

This event by Spartan Poker witnessed 283 entries battling it out. The top 31 places made in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹5,803.

Mystery player ‘Aurelius7’ and Varun Meena aka ‘buffalosoldier’ ended the tourney in a deal. While ‘Aurelius7’ walked away with ₹96,093, Meena pocketed ₹92,569. Players like Ankit Khattar (13th, ₹10,749), Karan Malhotra (20th, ₹7,782) and M Balakrishnan (21st, ₹7,122) also made it to the top 31 places.

IOPC July 2021 Legends winner Amit Gehani bubbled at this tourney at the 32nd spot. IOPC July 2021 The Crown Main Event winner Vaibhav Temani (46th), Ram Kakkar (77th), Kritagya Sharma (85th) and FTS 3.0 reg Arunkumar Singh (86th) left this tourney empty-handed.
