RummyCulture Campaigns With Sporting Legends To Promote Rummy

RummyCulture is one of the fastest growing online rummy platforms in India. The online site was launched by Gameskraft in 2017 and boasts a user base of more than 1 Crore. Recently, the rummy brand introduced its campaign called ‘Champions Yahan Bhi Bante Hain, Rummy Culture, Champions Ka Culture,’ with various sports personalities in an attempt to promote rummy.

This new campaign by the brand aims at breaking the taboo and general misconceptions surrounding the game of rummy. Popular sportsmen like Harbhajan Singh, Mahesh Bhupathi, Abhinav Bindra, and Pankaj Advani are a part of this campaign. Sports like cricket and tennis are popular in the country which may be the reason why these famous names were brought on board.

These players have their own unique set of skills and highlight how rummy players can use skills to win a game. Through this, Gameskraft wants to create a 360-degree turnaround in how rummy is perceived and played in the country. Commenting on this, Amit Kushwaha, Head Brand Strategist, Gameskraft said, “At RummyCulture our constant effort has been to change the way rummy is perceived. We want to debunk the myths and make rummy accessible. We also want to foster a community of professional rummy players and encourage more players to sign-up. Through this campaign, we are trying to make rummy equal to other sports.”

The campaign will feature videos of the four sporting icons drawing parallels between the skills needed in sports and rummy. The cricket legend, Harbhajan Singh said, “It is great to be a part of this campaign, as bringing a new sporting activity to the people is exciting. The RummyCulture app is intuitive and easy to use which makes the entire gaming experience more engaging.”

Abhinav Bindra, an Olympic Gold Medalist, also commented, “The idea behind creating a culture where champions are formed and recognized is fascinating.
