Rummy portal Ace2Three’s parent launches sports content site

One of India’s leading rummy website Ace2Three and its parent company Head Digital Works Pvt Ltd., has announced their latest venture, Cricket.com. The new company is a sports content platform which will provide live updates, predictions, data analysis, syndicated content about cricket matches. The company announced this in Mumbai today.

The announcement function was filled with many retired and current international cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Kevin Pietersen, Brian Lara, Mahela Jayawardene and Smriti Mandhana where the Cricket.com website and its mobile app were officially released.

Head Digital Works, formerly known as Head Infotech, said that the launch of the new portal is another development in an effort to diversify their offerings. They also invested in Fanfight, a fantasy sports and also launched WittyGames, a social gaming platform.

The Cricket.com site also offers ‘Criclytics’, an analysis portal inside the website. It shows Qualification Probability for on-going matches, currently offering Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019. Other services on the site include schedules, player info, team info, grounds, rankings, records, photos and videos. The site will also report on sports news and happenings of the world.

Prem Panicker, a veteran journalist with plenty of experience in sports, will be the editor-in-chief of this new content platform. Deepark Gullapalli, CEO of Head Digital Works said, “The launch of Cricket.com is part of a larger blueprint for the company. India’s biggest religion is cricket and we want to play a bigger role in this space.”

Gullapalli further said, “We already have a sports game platform via Fanfight and we plan to reach out to a larger base of fans via Cricket.com. The plan for the organisation includes diversification of the businesses and expansion of our footprint beyond Indian markets.”
