Although it looks like the dust might have settled on the Robbi Lew – Garrett Adelstein drama, but guess what? It hasn’t! Lew was proven innocent, but her J4o hand winnings—$135,000 are with Adelstein (in a way)! Now that the world knows Lew was not guilty of her crime, she has texted Adelstein, demanding he return the money he took along with a public apology. Yes! Lew privately texted Adelstein for real!
Lew recently appeared on a show hosted by a poker TikTok creator by the name ‘Casino King.’ During the show, she read out the text messages she had sent Adelstein.
She sent a total of three text messages to Adelstein wherein she asked him if he was interested in resolving the matter in the first text message. “I’m sure you’re surprised to hear from me. So let me say that I’ve put a lot of thought into whether or not to send this text communication to you. But I think it’s the right thing to do in the interest of avoiding having to file our prepared action. I’m reaching out to see if you have interest in resolving this matter between you and me,” the message read.

In the second message, she proposed that as a settlement, he returns her funds of $135,000 along with a public apology. The text message read, “My settlement proposal is a fair request that you kindly return my funds of approximately $135,000 with a public apology in your chosen verbiage.”
In the final message, she congratulated Adelstein on the birth of his baby girl. She wrote, “More importantly, congratulations to you and your lovely wife on the arrival of your baby girl. What a beautiful holiday gift.”
In October last year, Lew pulled off a J4o hand against Adelstein 7 ♣ 8 ♣ on the board of T ❤ T ♣ 9 ♠ 3 ❤ 9 ♦. On seeing the river, Adelstein demanded to run it twice, and the river showed A ♣ the second time. Adelstein immediately accused Lew of cheating since he believed it was impossible for a player to call and win with those hole cards.
In the denial of losing the $135,000 pot, he demanded Lew return the money claiming she cheated to win. To avoid the fuss and unnecessary attention Adelstein was creating, Lew returned his money. The high stakes pro later donated $135,000 to a charity of his choice.
Lew underwent a lie detector test and even submitted her phone records to Florida police, in which she was proven innocent. Hustler Casino Live, where the incident took place, also investigated and found no foul play, thus giving Lew a clean sheet.
