Ramesh Rao Thotapalli, fondly known in the poker circuit as RRT recently announced on his Instagram handle that he will be launching a real money gaming (RMG) app called Cards52. Thotapalli spoke to Gutshot Magazine and revealed what people can expect from the new RMG app and more. Now, RRT’s Cards52 has tied up with International Fashion Week (IFW) Goa 2022 as its online gaming partner. This news is rather exciting given the app was recently announced and is already grabbing headlines.
We reached out to the Goa-based poker player and entrepreneur to get more insights into the brand collaboration with IFW Goa 2022. RRT said, “William Xavier who is the founder of IFW Goa is a very close friend. We had several collaborations with him last year as well for the same event and now we have collaborated again this year with our new venture.
We plan to promote poker as a sport even in the fashion industry. It is an introduction of fashion in the poker world and penetration of a skill game like poker into the fashion universe. We at Cards52 hope that a larger population will become aware of what we are doing and how exciting the games are on our online gaming platform. At Cards52, we are aiming to achieve this goal in style.”
Well, Cards52’s latest collaboration is hinting that big things are coming in the near future. As far as the online gaming brand is concerned ever since its launch announcement, folks from the Indian gaming industry are eagerly looking forward to seeing what the platform has in store for real money gamers. As for the Indian poker players, they seem super excited to grind on this site which promises a best-in-class experience to its players. As per Thotapalli’s Instagram post, Cards52.com will go live by the end of 2022. Apart from Cards52, Poker Sports League (PSL) is also onboard with IFW Goa 2022 as online gaming partner. IFW Goa 2022 will be held from 7th to 9th October 2022 in Panaji, Goa.
