When mobile games become fan favourites, it is hard not to pit them against each other. Whether it’s a new version of a beloved game or a recent release that everyone loves participating in a little debate. While gamers are familiar with the whole PUBG vs FAU-G discussion, here’s another debate that will keep the conversation going: PUBG Mobile vs Call of Duty (COD) Mobile.
Both have earned their rightful place in the gaming market as popular and enjoyable battle royale games. But there are certain elements in each game that are better than the other. For this article, we’ll be highlighting their differences.
PUBG: The action in PUBG Mobile keeps gamers coming back for more. However, the gameplay is slow when compared to Call of Duty. While gamers do taste a bit of fast-paced action while they land on the hot drop location, the rest of the game will require a bit more stealth which is what makes it slow. But for players who love to take their time, this won’t be a bummer.
COD: Gamers who love getting right into action mode will enjoy COD Mobile a bit more than PUBG. The game is action-packed right from the get-go and has a variety of elements that contribute immensely to the overall gameplay. Players who like fast-paced and unstoppable action will surely prefer COD.
PUBG: Good in-game graphics are just another way to make the experience more fun for gamers. Graphics in PUBG are detailed with realistic depictions of the surroundings.
COD: While graphics in both the games are good, COD has a slight edge over PUBG. The detailing is more polished in the game. Even though they both run on similar technical specifications, COD is a clear winner on the graphics front.
PUBG: In any heavy-duty action game, weapons are very crucial for the players. PUBG gives players a lot more functionality with its weapons. With the appropriate attachments, players have the option to utilize different types of guns for various purposes like long-range or short-range shooting.
COD: The guns in COD are not as flexible and will not work unless they are used in the right way. Players who want a bit more range when it comes to weaponry may not enjoy this element in COD as the weapons cannot be customized for different purposes.
PUBG: You can’t have battles without having a battleground and maps are another aspect that keeps the players engaged. PUBG is known for the variety of maps it offers and for those who like switching their surroundings can choose from any one of the following maps in PUBG: Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, and Vikendi.
COD: The map options in COD are limited to two – Alcatraz and Isolated. But even with only a couple of maps in the games, players are still bound to enjoy it without any regrets.
PUBG: Different modes in the game, helps a player experiment and discover what works for them. PUBG offers a lot of modes like the Classic, Battle Royale mode, Team Deathmatch, Domination, EvoGround. The game also has an Arcade game mode with options like Quick Match, War, and Hardcore Mode.
COD: COD too has multiple gaming modes like Team Deathmatch, Frontline, Search and Destroy, Domination, Gun Game, Battle Royale, Sniper Only, Blitz, among many others.
