Pratibha Arya And Maria Kirloskar Are The New Adda52 Game Ambassadors

One of the top online poker platforms in the country, Adda52 announced its new game ambassadors in Pratibha Arya and Maria Kirloskar. Talking about Arya, this software engineer is one of the most popular names in the Indian poker circuit, who’s now added a feature to her cap. Adda52 made the announcement about their new Game Ambassadors on their Instagram handle. 

The video post shared by the online poker brand sees Arya talking about the mind sport and how the card game changed her as a person whilst stating that poker is a mentally stimulating game which has nothing to do with luck. She makes sure to add that poker is a beautiful game which teaches you about life in general rather than just playing your cards right. Arya dwells how the card game made her a calmer person, more composed and someone who makes difficult decisions under pressure. 

Arya who’s been playing poker professionally for five years now, shed some light on the card game. While talking about the misconceptions in poker, the female pro added that poker is a strategic mind sport which involves critical and logical thinking. She presses very hard on the fact that poker is a game of strategy.

When asked about the vital skills which a poker player must possess, Arya says that discipline and humanity are the two most important and underrated skills in poker. She talks about how bankroll management is very important as you cannot exhaust all your resources and cannot be left empty-handed, if you had to start all over. Arya adds how consistency and learning  in the game are pretty crucial with respect to the skills that a poker player must possess. 

When asked about what the new Adda52 Game Ambassador would like to achieve in her role, Arya says that she will focus on getting more female players into the fold versus catering to the established players. The female poker pro wishes to nurture upcoming players who want to learn the game from scratch. Arya also states that there’s a need for more role models as people follow achievers and that she would like to lead by example as the new Adda52 Game Ambassador.
