PokerLion Joins MPN’s Indian Poker Network

PokerLion.com is an Indian poker website that was launched just a week ago (8th March 2018), and the newbie website is in the news now for becoming the latest to join MPN’s Indian Poker Network. MPN (Microgaming Poker Network) is an online poker network that consists of nearly 30 poker rooms.

The Indian Poker Network once consisted of quite a few poker websites, but it has slowly dropped over time. With KhelPlay Poker shutting down operations today (15th March), only Pokeryaar and Pokernation remained in the IPN, but with PokerLion now joining, Microgaming’s India experiment will stay alive.

Owned by Stuti Hardware Pvt. Ltd. (Ability Games), PokerLion is an upcoming website that will have to be extremely good if they want to cope with the current competition in the Indian poker industry. The same Ability Games Group also purchased Goa Lions, one of the new teams which will be introduced in the second season of the Match Indian Poker League. Powered by Microgaming’s award-winning software, PokerLion will be targetting a broad demographic of players.
