Wynn Signature Series returns in Jan 2019


The Wynn Las Vegas, often simply referred to as Wynn, is a luxury resort and casino in Paradise, Nevada. They host the Wynn Signature Series in its poker room every year, hosting it just last month, featuring 11 different events running between Nov 28 to Dec 10. This series had included PLO and Short Deck Ante only events too. Now it has just announced the series to return in January, 2019. The full schedule has been released and the series has a combined guaranteed prize pool of $690,000.

The festival will run between Jan 16-27 2019, and will feature nine tournaments all lined up to suit all kinds of pockets. The action will begin on the first day with $300 NLHE $3,000 Survivor, which has a guarantee of $30,000. The following day will feature a NLHE Seniors (50+) event with a guarantee of $50,000 and a buy-in of $550. Starting from Jan 18, the are four NLHE events lined up with buy-ins ranging from $300 to $550, and guarantees ranging from $30,000 to $50,000.

The juice of the series will begin with the final three events, each guaranteeing a six-figure prize pool. The first of these is the $400 NLHE event featuring $100,000 guarantee and two starting flights between Jan 22-23. Players will play with 20,000 starting chips and the blinds will slowly increase at 40 minute levels. The players who qualify will compete on Jan 27.

The following event will be the $600 NLHE and will feature three startling flights between Jan 24-26, and has a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000. The champion of the event will be crowned on Jan 27. This event will also have blinds increasing at 40 minute levels.

The series will see its last event, the one-day $1,100 NLHE, with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. Along with the above exciting events, the Wynn is also hosting eight Super Satellites from Jan 17-25, where poker enthusiasts can compete for a seat in the $250,000 GTD NLHE for a cheaper amount.
