The poker fanatics around the world have started grinding online, fixing their fun due to the novel Coronavirus pandemic which has led to an unprecedented growth in the traffic. And with that, here comes a fantastic news that came on April 15, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and GGPoker will be pairing to bring WSOP Super Circuit Online Series in May 2020.
The tournament schedule is yet to be released but the series assures hundreds of individual events including 18 headlining events that will award WSOP Circuit gold rings. This announcement comes two weeks after the first WSOP.com Super Circuit Series. Also assuring to give away two tickets into the $1,000,0000 freeroll WSOP Global Casino Championship bracelet event. The two tickets will be awarded to the winner of the Main Event and the overall WSOP COS leaderboard winner. On the other hand, GGPoker players will be able to qualify for WSOPSC events via satellites.
“We’re thrilled to partner with an operator on the rise who is both aggressive and passionate about growing poker engagement around the world,” said Ty Stewart, Executive Director of WSOP. “It was unfortunate that we were forced to cancel so many offline WSOP Circuit events this Spring, but with vast reach, GGPoker plans to dwarf the prize pools of the suspended events all at once in one truly Super WSOP Circuit.”
