Natural8 now offers you a chance to play the WSOP 2020 Main Event on its platform. This is a new hybrid format for the $10,000 WSOP Main Event which has come into effect.
The hybrid format is a first of its kind and it will see American players in Nevada and New Jersey play on WSOP.com. International players will play on the GGPoker Network (GGPN), with separate $10,000 freezeouts. The coronavirus lockdown led to the cancellation of many events. The poker industry also suffered due the pandemic. One of the most anticipated events among poker players is the World Series Of Poker (WSOP).
The WSOP $10,000 Main Event has a set of unique features. The newly created format has a system of live-and-online hybrid model that will see two separate events play out; each beginning online and continuing until both final tables are set.
The final table is set in the International Tournament segment of the 2020 WSOP main event. The tournament attracted a total of 674 entries. Now, there are just nine players remaining, that have a chance at winning. The final nine are all guaranteed at least $75,360 paydays. But all of them surely have their eyes on the top prize of $1,550,969. The top 80 places during the event were paid out with $1.55 million.
The nine players are Brunno Botteon (Brazil), Manuel ‘robocup’ Ruivo (Portugal), Damian Salas (Argentina), fullbabyfull (Lichtenstein), Hannes ‘BlackFortuna’ Speiser (Austria), Dominykas ‘MickeyMouse’ Mikolaitis (Lithuania), Ramon ‘Ritza’ Miquel Munoz (Spain), Peiyuan ‘fish3098’ Sun (China), and Stoyan ‘UncleToni’ Obreshkov (Bulgaria).
The final table will resume on 15 December. Both the winners of the domestic and international final table will then battle it out for the winner’s title and an additional $1 million in cash. The final showdown which will be televised at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas will be held on December 30.
