Poker is an enjoyable game that can be played among friends and family. While not everyone is an expert at the game, that doesn’t mean that should miss out on playing it. In 2013, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) made it possible for non-professionals to experience what it’s like to play poker like a pro. How? Through the World Series of Poker: Full House Pro. This was one of the popular video games during its good three-year run.

The video game was developed by Pipeworks Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The game was released on Xbox 360 and Xbox Live Arcade. It was a sequel to the World Series of Poker and had mixed to positive reviews by the gaming community. Being freely available on Xbox Live was another advantage that the game had. This gave people a chance to play it without much of a hassle.

Once logged into the game, the players were automatically given free chips to play with but had to pay if they wanted to play more. Along with playing poker, players also had the opportunity to customize their avatar by buying different skins and changing their table customization. Many were fond of the game as it provided a somewhat close experience of being in WSOP through a digital medium.

However, the game was later discontinued in March 2015 after Pipeworks Studios announced that World Series of Poker: Full House Pro servers would close. This move made the game unavailable and brought it to a close. While the exact cause for this shut down has not been clearly stated. The game was nevertheless an enjoyable experience for those who had a chance to play it.
