Ujjwal Narwal is Adda52’s Godfather of the week!

If you know online poker in India, you have to know about Godfather. It happens to be one of the biggest online offerings on Adda52 each week, which usually sees tough fields and of course, massive guarantees. The tournament is played every Thursday night and another edition of the same was played a couple of nights back.

Godfather 9.0 INR 20 Lakh GTD began at its scheduled time of 8pm on Thursday and with its usual buy-in of INR 5,500, a field of 444 entries registered and this took the prize pool up to INR 22.2 Lakh. From the field, only the top 49 players were paid out by the end of the night, each receiving a min-cash of INR 12,210.

However, Ujjwal Narwal didn’t want to settle for anything less than gold on Adda52. He plays as ‘fourteenk’ on the platform and is always among the top finishers, if not a winner. Among his many previous wins online are last week’s Elite on Spartan and prior to that on Adda52, shipping the inaugural National Poker Championship for a massive score!

Thursday night too, he managed to top the field and bag another major online score of INR 5,43,900. While everyone is looking for scores in Vegas, Narwal is doing a good job sitting at home and grinding. He beat Rajat Mahajan aka ‘happyfish’ in heads-up who has also been having a good run, shipping PokerBaazi’s Vegas just a night prior to the Godfather tournament. Here too, he bagged a handsome prize of INR 3,21,900 for finishing second.

Other Adda52 regulars who finished in the money here include Vinay B aka ‘ContemporisT’ (43rd), Anujkumar Kodam aka ‘thekinganuj’ (26th), Vinayak Bajaj aka ‘bhai_on_mary_jane’ (25th), Deepak Bothra aka ‘bothras’ (17th), Goonjan Mall aka ‘gmtesting’ (9th), and many others.
