Nadeem Basha aka ‘blindgame’ took down event #37 Afternoon Showdown INR 8 Lakhs GTD on Spartan Poker. A total of 365 hopefuls joined the field after chipping in INR 2,200 out of which only 31 received a paycheck. The tournament ended in level 49 when players struck a heads-up deal which saw ‘abhi2345’ in the runner-up position.

Coming out on top was Vivek Singh aka ‘KasolHieghts’ while his opponent Pranav Anand aka ‘mithrandir16’ settled in the runner-up position after both players settled for a heads-up deal.

Another major event that caught the public attention was SSS #41 The Race INR 10 Lakhs GTD which kicked off at 9:30 last night on Spartan Poker. A total of 778 entries joined the field after each paid INR 1,650. The top 63 players ended up earning a portion of bigger prize pool of INR 11.67 Lakhs. Powering through the field was online crusher Sathish Ananth aka ‘Jaqkten’ who defeated ‘Cassandra’ in heads-up and bagged the winner’s title.

This number drove the guarantee to become INR 23.03 Lakhs in prize pool and the top 81 finishers returned home with a min-cash. Riding past the field was online reg Alok Birewar aka ‘TheProfessional’ who seized INR 4.25 Lakhs in prize money after eliminating ‘Apocalypto’ in heads-up. The runner-up earned INR 2.98 Lakhs for his efforts.

Hexagram

Adda52 hosted Hexagram INR 2.5 Lakhs GTD last night at 10 pm garnering a total of 171 entrants who paid INR 2,200 individually. Generating a  bigger prize pool of INR 3.42 Lakhs whose largest chunk was taken away by Rishi Mundhra aka ‘ronaldo94’ after defeating Sreekanth Narayan aka ‘n0thing’ in heads-up to claim the winner’s prize money of INR 95,760 while Narayan earned INR 59,850 for settling in the second position.

Sixth Sense

PokerStars’ Tuesday marquee Sixth Sense INR 10 Lakhs GTD fetched a total of 333 entries after each one paid INR 3,300. Riding past the field to capture the first-place prize money was online reg Armaan Kochhar aka ‘armaan007111’ who knocked out Ashish Munot aka ‘chipcharity999’ in heads-up for INR 1.75 Lakhs in prize money while Munot secured INR 1.24 Lakhs.
