Thursday Roundup: Pasricha, Sharma, Singh, Jain, Nasa ship events!


Another big and busy day across the online felts of the country. Thursday was all about Spartan Poker’s Day 1A of UVS Millionaire Lite, PokerBaazi’s popular flagship events, Adda52’s AOPS events and PokerStars India’s Highroller. UVS The Millionaire Lite (Day 1A)

The multi-flight INR 1,650 buy-in UVS The Millionaire Lite kicked off last evening on Spartan Poker. Out of the three Day 1s yesterday hosted Day 1A which attracted 454 entrants. After 4 hours of grinding session, only 45 survived to fight it off on Day 2 which is scheduled on Sunday, 14 June. Topping the list and accumulating the largest stack of 241,189 was ‘SOOO PURE’ while following the heels of the chip in-charge was ‘RULS’ with 201,485 in second place and ‘Stick3rz’ bagging 173,283 in third place. Well, the most striking part about this Millionaire is that the winner gets a hefty 1 million in cash prize!

Ultron

The popular Thursday flagship tournament Ultron INR 20 Lakh GTD drew 559 entries for a buy-in of INR 4,400. Creating a bigger prize pool of INR 22.36 Lakh, the top 47 players earned a min-cash of INR 12K. Walking away with the lion’s share of the prize money was Arjun Pasricha aka ‘lol this guy’ who has been making a few deep runs lately and defeated ‘ConMan’ to win the title. Other prominent names include Ranjan Chowdhary aka ‘tripking’ (4th), Avadh Shah aka ‘cateyes’ (5th), Sumit Sapra aka ‘Sands Myth’ (9th)

Another feature on Spartan Poker was Monster Stack INR 6 Lakh GTD. The guarantee was surpassed on the back of 333 entries that collected INR 6.66 Lakh in prize pool. It was ‘bageecha2019’ who took down the event and pocketed the top prize while his opponent ‘Ro$a’ settled in the runner-up position.

It was PokerStars latest Battle Royale champ Vaibhav Sharma aka ‘WakhraSwagNi’ who defeated Arjanveer Chadha aka ‘holdbaby’ in heads-up to win INR 5.07 Lakh while Chadha earned INR 3.56 Lakh for his efforts. Other notable regs include Ujjwal Narwal (3rd, INR 2.29L), Abhishek Gubba aka ‘messi010010’ (4th, INR 1.69L), Gaurav Sood aka ‘gaug17’ (5th, INR 1.27L).

Pokersaint Spectre series slim

Thursday MonsterStack

PokerBaazi’s INR 5 Lakh GTD Thursday MonsterStack pulled in 184 entries for a buy-in of INR 2,750. Powering through the field was Lakshpal Singh aka ‘boomtlt23’ who knocked out ‘riteshcbec’ in heads-up and collected the top prize of INR 1.24 Lakh. The opponent walked out securing INR 87,150.

A host of other notable players include Harsh Dembla aka ‘100crdream’ (3rd, INR 56K), Guruprasad Gupta aka ‘fish_calling (4th, INR 41K), Anurag Srivastava aka ‘13anurag’ (7th, INR 20K), Anmol Mehta aka ‘Anzzzzz’ (9th, INR 12.4K) and so on.

AOPS Rockets

Boasting INR 40 Lakh in prize pool guarantee, the AOPS Rockets was one of the headlining tournaments on Adda52 last night. The event garnered a pretty good field, generating INR 43.20 Lakh in prize pool. Outlasting Goonjan Mall aka ‘gmtesting’ in heads-up was the ultimate winner Danish Shaikh aka ‘King0fMerge’ who captured a whopping INR 10.58 Lakh in prize money. Mall banked the second place payout of INR 5.78 Lakh.

Others finishing in the money include Siddarth Singhvi aka ‘badtameez_donk in the 3rd place for INR 3.92L, Ayaz Khan aka ‘khan1977’ in 4th place for INR 2.87L.

AOPS Super High Roller

The biggest buy-in tournament of the night INR 55,000 AOPS Super High Roller guaranteed INR 40 Lakh on Adda52. Smashing the assured amount to collect a juicy INR 53.95 Lakh, the top 11 players boosted their bankrolls by earning INR 1.21 Lakh in min-cash. The biggest winner of the night was Shashank Jain aka ‘felter’ who ran past a host of skilled regs and railed out Sriharsha D aka ‘Ivey2’ in heads-up to ship the event of INR 13.90 Lakh in top prize. The latter banked INR 12.26 Lakh for his efforts! Following the top two were Vinayak Bajaj aka ‘bhai_on_mary_jane’ (3rd, INR 7.55L), Gaurav Sood aka ‘guaravarod’ (5th, INR 3.77L)

Highroller

PokerStars’ Thursday flagship event Highroller INR 15 Lakh GTD drew a total of 227 entrants after each paid INR 7,700, accumulating a prize pool of INR 15.89 Lakh. Money received the top 39 places but the one to take home the largest was Akshay Nasa aka ‘youcantcallme’ who eliminated Arjanveer Chadha aka ‘ballistik310’ in heads-up for INR 3.06 Lakh in prize money. Once again, Chadha settled in the runner-up position (read-above) for INR 2.26 Lakh while others Gaurav Sood aka ‘3betPanda’ finished 3rd for INR 1.66L, Annkur Agarwal aka ‘Flopzila’ in 4th place for INR 1.23L, and Guneet Kwatra aka ‘GSK1515’ in 5th place bagging INR 90K.
