Thursday Roundup: Gaurav Sood, Rajat Sharma among title winners

While APT Vietnam is all warmed-up with a number of Indian participants, it is interesting to look around and watch the online felts jammed as well. While Ashish Munot could be found representing India in the live felts, he never disappeared from online tournaments held yesterday night. But Thursday was all about Gaurav Sood winning back-to-back, fighting tooth and nail to become the popular star of the night. And here is sneak peek into Thursday’s daily majors…

Spartan – Head-Hunter INR 15 Lakhs GTD

Every Thursday night, Spartan Poker hosts a bounty tournament called Head-Hunter INR 15 Lakhs GTD which seems to be growing in popularity in recent times. After 6 intense hours of grinding, ‘GHOSTF@CE’ took away the valuable title along with the first-place prize money. The player who wished to stay anonymous has had previous records of excellence attached to his name. The tournament saw a 3-way deal in the final hand and the winner finished ahead of ‘potripper16’ and ‘Shakerchi’.

  • Total Entries – 303
  • Prize Pool – INR 15,15,000
  • Places Paid – 27
  • Min-Cash – INR 15,150

As usual, the guarantee was crushed and the top places received a minimum pay-check including Siddharth Karia aka ‘schemer77’ (4th), yesterday’s 9stacks winner (read below) Gaurav Sood aka ‘mozzie17’ (7th), Vinayak Bajaj aka ‘tuktuki’ (9th), Eka Vedantham aka ‘gettingthere’ (15th), Yowan Patel aka ‘PAPITO’ (16th), yesterday night’s PokerStars Highroller winner (read below) Rajat Sharma aka ‘Garammasala’ (22nd) Ashish Munot aka ‘Donkey 07’ (24th) and so on.
