Sunday Round Up: Shagun Jain Emerges As The Biggest Winner


Every tournament that took place yesterday had hundreds of entries and several pros like Shagun Jain, Sanat Mehrotra, Manish Lakhotia battling it out. Money Heist – ₹10 Lakh GTD

The Money Heist tournament on Spartan Poker was shipped by an anonymous player ‘PokerKnight’ who fired two bullets and cashed ₹2,31,257 in prize money. The ₹1,200 buy-in tournament had 1,110 entries in total. The top 103 entries were paid a min-cash of ₹3,296.

The runner-up in this tournament was also a mystery player ‘TejuHel’ who received ₹1,41,513 in prize money. The advertised guarantee was ₹10 Lakh which was surpassed by a small margin and a new prize pool of ₹12,21,000 was formed.

The tournament had 101 entries in total and the top 98 players were paid a min-cash of ₹17,500. Mehrotra never fails to impress his fans with his blockbuster performances on the virtual felts. With IOPC July 2021 around the corner, we are sure this pro will set the online poker felts on fire.

Adda52’s Sunday Showdown tournament had 500 entries in total and it was shipped by mystery player ‘Gabbar1510’ who took home ₹2,11,321 in prize money. The Sunday Showdown was a ₹2,500 buy-in tournament and the top 53 players were paid a min-cash of ₹7,147. 

The runner up in this tournament was Shagun Jain aka ‘Sogani94’ who received ₹1,54,897 in prize money. 

Players who made it in the money were Arjanveer Singh Chadha (4th, ₹83,224), Aman Parakh (23rd, ₹9,406), Kunal Patni (31st, ₹8,199), Anurag Srivastava (32nd, ₹8,199), Advait Rajguru (35th, ₹8,199), Manish Lakhotia (41st, ₹7,147), Amit Kaushik (43rd, ₹7,147) among others.
