Sunday Round Up: Lakhotia, Ojha, Singh & Choudhary Pocketed Tons Of Cash In Winnings

On Sundays, poker platforms tend to go full throttle with the prize pools. Most poker pros try their hand on tournaments with high value guarantee tournaments. Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, and Adda52 hosted some highly-anticipated events. Several established, as well as mystery players, shipped tournaments yesterday. 

Sunday Superstack – 42 Lakh GTD

Sunday Superstack on Spartan Poker is one of the highly anticipated tournaments. Yesterday’s tournament had 497 entries in total and the top 47 contenders were paid a min-cash of ₹28,329. This ₹11,000 buy-in tournament had an advertised guarantee of ₹42,000,00 which was crushed and an even bigger prize pool of ₹49,70,000 was formed.  

The Sunday Superstack tournament was won by Sahil Chutani aka ‘$lim$hady19’ who took a massive sum of ₹7,92,888 in prize money. Giving Chutani a tough fight was Devang Yadav aka ‘equity_hunter’ who collected ₹7,91,050 in prize money.

Poker player, Vishal Ojha aka ‘Darky012’ shipped this tournament and received a pay cheque of ₹2,15,278. The runner-up of this tournament was Akshat Sharma aka ‘doubledown’ who won ₹1,96,297.

This Sunday Showdown tournament on Adda52 was a ₹2,500 buy-in tournament. There were 530 entries in total and the top 53 places were paid a min-cash of ₹7,576. The advertised guarantee of ₹10 Lakh was surpassed and a slightly bigger prize pool of ₹11,924,99 was formed. The winner of this tournament was mystery player ‘Oshuri’ who received a pay cheque of ₹2,24,000. Naitik Jain aka ‘moto007’ gave a tough fight to the winner and ended up as the runner-up. Jain cashed ₹1,64,191.

This tournament was shipped by an unknown player ‘pratap2904’ who thickened his bankroll with ₹7,05,000 in prize money. Kamlesh Pandey aka ‘nirbadh’ gave a tough fight to the mystery player and clinched the second spot. He won ₹4,11,000 in prize money.

The advertised guarantee of ₹25 Lakh was surpassed and an even bigger prize pool of ₹28,50,000 was formed. Manish Lakhotia aka ‘newkidpoker’ traversed through the sea of entries and won this tournament and shipped this tournament. He took home ₹7,29,600 in prize money. Lakhotia was followed by ‘shooter19’ who received ₹4,34,625 in prize money.

The advertised guarantee of ₹20 Lakh was surpassed by a slight margin. And the final prize pool of ₹21,50,000 was formed. This tournament was shipped by Sagar Choudhary aka ‘sagarpupul’ who took home ₹4,32,000 in prize money. Choudhary’s win could not have been an easy one as Anirban Das aka ‘pottysingh’ was the runner-up. Das received ₹3,03,000 in prize money.
