Spartan Poker’s Video Campaign Shows Funny Mindsets in Poker

Sitting on a poker table and observing your opponents can be intimidating, some making a stupendous appearance with low-lying hats, headphones, dark sunglasses while others wearing the same clothes over and over again. Highlighting a few funny characters and personality traits of several players out there, one of India’s leading online poker room Spartan Poker curated a video for its ongoing 2020 India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) July 2020, promising a whopping INR 25 Crore GTD.

The 18-day festival is crammed with high-guarantee tournaments and poker players across the country are charged up to take down events one after another. Spartan Poker collaborated with several TV superstars in its latest video campaign including Karan Wahi, Varun Sood, Priyank Sharma, Krystle Dsouza, Gurumeet Choudhary and Anita Hassanandani. The 9-minute video for its ongoing IOPC series portrays different personality traits.

The campaign conceptualized by ‘Suited Connectors’ (Dr. Yuvraj and Akanksha Singh) shows different poker players rely on strategy, logic, superstitions, pattern analysis while grinding. It highlights the fact that each of us stand a chance to grab the prestigious title with observation, practice and required skill.

Marketing Head of Spartan Poker, Anuj Barasia said, “We wanted the film to bring a new side of the poker players to the fore and express how players use different strategies and skills according to their personality. The film is an enjoyable way of expressing emotions of a poker player to stay ahead in the game.”
