PUBG: Gunz Esports Wins PMSC Arabia 2021 Champions Title

PUBG Mobile Star Challenge Arabia (PMSC) 2021 culminated on May 2 after a gripping fight between 16 teams of the region. Gunz Esports was crowned as the ultimate champion as they finished the points table with 80 kills and 191 points.

The second and third place were secured by RTG Esports and Rico Infinity team respectively. RTG Esports had 74 kills and 162 points while Rico Infinity had 124 points. The PMSC Arabia 2021 is a three-day Ramzan special tournament mainly for the Arab region. Tencent mainly hosted this tournament to mark the holy month of Ramzan.

A total of 16 teams from the Middle East fought to clinch the top spot and a massive prize pool of $ 1,00,000. The matches took place on Miramar, Erangel and Sanhok. The teams played four matches in a day which sums up to 12 matches in the competition.

The prize distribution during the PMSC Arabia 2021 was as follows:

• Winner : Gunz Esports – $ 35,000
• Runner Up: RTG Esports – $ 20,000
• 3rd Place : Rico Infinity Team – $ 10,000

The first match that was played was won by RTG Esports as the team had 10 frags. They were followed by Rico Infinity and Team Knockout who had two kills each. Galaxy Racer finished on the 13th spot. The team consists of influencers and content creators from Saudi Arabia and India. This team will be participating in the upcoming PUBG Mobile Pro League Season 1.

All the matches were live-streamed on PUBG mobile Esports’ YouTube channel. Other than the matches, there was also a live performance by Saudi-based hip hop artist Abubakar Al Jilany also known as Lil Eazy on April 29th. Other than this, there was also an exhibition match, which had comedian Mohamed Henedy and PUBG Mobile content creator TARBOUN which took place on May 1st.
