PSL Season 3 Virtual: Kolkata Kings Are Ready For A Shot At Victory

The new year has a lot in store for poker players all over India with Poker Sports League (PSL) introducing the new online format for season 3. By taking the league to the virtual platform, PSL has widened the field and now players from all over the country have a chance to be a part of it. Thanks to the mix of amateur and professional players in the team, the former has the opportunity to play and learn from the pros.

PSL Season 3 Virtual has eight teams of 10 players who will be competing with each other on the digital felts. In this article, we will be taking a look at the players of team Kolkata Kings. Kolkata Kings is owned by Kunal Gupta, Varun Mahna and Varun Puri. Gupta is the founder and group chairman at Met Technologies, while Mahna and Puri are the founders of PokerDangal with Mahna as the CEO. With these three holding the reins, Team Kolkata Kings is in good hands.   

As team captain, we have Aditya Sushant, India’s first WSOP bracelet winner, who will be leading the group. Along with him we have wild card, Ashish Munot who won the WPT India Main Event back in 2019. Giving the team a boost are pros Gokul Raj Dharmarajan and Srihari Bang. Both of whom have multiple titles to their name and have a combined lifetime earnings of more than INR 8 Crores.

The hashtag qualifiers are skilled players Aditya Kumar and Smita Agarwalla. Finally, rounding off the team we have the season 3 online qualifiers: Vinayak Bajaj and Karan Thakkar.

PSL Season 3 Virtual will be starting from 18 January 2021 and will end on 20 February 2021.
