PokerStars’ Indian Poker Room Hosts ₹ 4.80 Crore Guarantee Summer Series

According to a report by PRO, PokerStars’ Indian poker room hosted its third tournament this year. The tournament is scheduled to last for 15 days with a guarantee of ₹ 48,00,00,00. The series features a total of about 129 tournaments. Reports stated that the series kicked off on June 1 with a total prize pool of ₹ 48,00,00,00 ($66,00,00). 

Further reports stated that each tournament would have an average guarantee that stands at ₹ 3,70,000 ($5070). The minimum buy-in was set at just ₹ 110 ($1.50). The Super Highroller was the most expensive, amounting to ₹ 27,500 ($375). Most of the events had a fixed price set between ₹ 220 ($3) and ₹ 1100 ($15).

PRO revealed that the festival was highlighted by a ₹ 1 Crore ($13,70,00) guaranteed Main Event. This Main Event was known to be one of the largest guarantees ever offered by PokerStars.in. The guarantee came with a price tag of ₹ 11,000 ($150). It was also structured as a multi-day event with the main event scheduled to take place on the 15th of June 2021.   

Other welcome additions on the schedule are:

June 6 –  ₹20 Lakhs GTD Sunday Highroller

June 10 –  ₹40 Lakhs GTD Super Highroller 

June 12 –  ₹15 Lakhs GTD Main Event Warm-up 

June 13 – ₹12 Lakhs GTD The Big Crunch 

The Main GTD Event for ₹1 Crore:

According to a report by Poker Guru, a ₹11,000 buy-in multi-flight tourney with an exciting ₹1 Crore prize pool guarantee has been scheduled in the Summer Series tournament. Reports stated that the tourney will start at 5 PM on June 12 and make a three-day sprint to the finish line.

The Main Event dates scheduled are:

Day 1 – June 13 (5 PM)

Day 2 – June 14 (7.30 PM)

Day 3 – June 15 (7.30 PM)

The Depositor Freeroll:

Poker Guru further revealed that the Summer Series Main Event Depositor Freeroll would guarantee ₹5.50 Lakhs worth of Summer Series Main Event tickets. The Freeroll would take place at 9 PM on June 12. The top 50 finishers will each win a ₹11,000 ticket to the Main Event.

How can one enter the freeroll?

1. Anyone who makes a deposit of ₹2,000 or more anytime between 7 PM on May 17 to 8.59 PM on June 12 along with the deposit code “SUMMER21”would get a ticket. 
2. Register manually for the freeroll using the ticket.
3. Note that you won’t be eligible to claim the offer if you make a withdrawal before making a qualifying deposit during the period mentioned above.
4. The players who win multiple Main Event tickets can be exchanged for subsequent tickets for T₹.
