PokerGO Unveils Its Upcoming Tour With Millions Up For Grabs
PokerGO has unveiled its tour which will have 150 tournaments across the globe. The tour will run between 3-14 June at PokerGo studio and the first event is the US Poker Open (USPO). The first series will feature a total of 12 tournaments.
Other than the US Poker Open, the other events included are as follows.
- 1-10 July: PokerGO Cup with 8 events, that will include a USD 1,00,000 buy-in No-limit Hold’em Main Event
- 12 July: PokerGO Heads-Up Championship with 32 poker pros on board in a USD 1,00,000 buy-in.
- 13–24 September: Poker Masters with 12 events, which includes a purple jacket for the series winner
- 26 September: Super High Roller Bowl, a three-day USD 3,00,00 buy-in tournament
The ranking system in the PokerGo Tour will award points for each in the money finish on the tour. The winner of the tour will also be named ‘Player of the Year’ and will receive a USD 1,00,000 bonus. The second and third place winners will get USD 50,000 and USD 25,000 respectively.

Mori Eskandani, President of PokerGo said, “Poker is a sport that is played for hundreds of years and until now there has not been a globally recognized tournament and ranking system. So, to establish and celebrate elite players, we started something that will help and grow.” He further added, “The PokerGO Tour events will also include the world’s most challenging high stakes events, which will also help in bringing poker to the front in a way never done before.”
In the past, Poker Central has live-streamed several high-roller events such as the Super High Roller Bowl, Poker Masters, and popular cash game shows such as “Poker After Dark” and “High Stakes Poker.” Other than this, CBS Sports recently tied up with PokerGO to become broadcast partners for the World Series Of Poker Main Event and selected WSOP bracelet events.
